Well merry xmas everyone! My first post on here but ive gotten a lot of useful inf from here so I thought I would join this community. A ill bout myself, born n raised in chi, went to school for drug counseling out west n did great. I got my first counseling gig n loved it, however, I am my own worst enemy n have had my fair share of problems in the past. I'm still 24. But it's xmas n I'm in chi for the holidays and am in withdrawals from the fire d that I've grown to love. I am no longer a counselor out west cuz it's way too hypocritical n that shit got to me.

Welcome to BL. This thread is against the rules I am pretty sure, it's about posting articles about drugs in the media here, with a source url in your post. Maybe read the guidlines if you need to.

But it's xmas n I'm in chi for the holidays

How's China?

hehe, I kinda knew it wasn't China, but I didnt guess Chicago, it's too early in the morning here in Oz. It's boxing day, I guess it's christmas there.. So Have a good xmass day! :)

Here's the guide lines for this 'drugs in the media' thread - Have a browse if you wont to, or it's pretty easy to pick up just by checking threads and how they are formatted.

Each section of blue light has differing rules on threads and posts, just so you know, it's not the same all across the board, as I found with my first official warning recently.

Just got a jab piece from v park, so im comfy for now, just letting y'all know. This shit is such a struggle at times. Seems like days 2-3 are the absolute worst, but you all been through it, so sorry for ramblin. Anyways, nothing is worse than withdrawalin from benzos, damn that shit seems like it takes forever and the mind seems to never get back to normal. But, stay comfy my friends.

No problem!

I despise ice/snow myself (I don't mind having to run the heater but it sucks to increase the power bill to do so) but ice specifically, because about 2 years ago I broke both bones in my writing arm because I slipped on ice. It was so painful, much more painful than when I had two separate incidents (as a child nonetheless) of breaking a single bone. Sadly I had to have surgery and I still have tendinitis but I can at least use my arm/hand again well. :)

So with that being said, be careful when walking on ice/snow, and if you find yourself falling, don't try to catch yourself with your arms!!! This is what I did on instinct. (d'oh)

Haha, amen to that man. Only good thing about breaking bones is the potential oxy script :)

They gave me 20x 5mg ir percocet one time. I should have sued that hospital.

I went onto an orthopedist, and only got 40x 7.5mg hydrocodone twice. Almost nothing when you think about the level of pain I was in.

I got to have IV midazolam + fentanyl for the surgery, which was nice...but not worth it IMO.

Haha Damn dude, should have done some probbin to see what you could have gotten....fent is always nice tho...hydros are a joke obviously

The doctors wouldn't have budged, they are real hard asses. Besides since it wasn't going to relieve my pain I wasn't going to complain. If I didn't have buprenorphine I really would have been fucked... I don't think I could have lived through that pain level without something to actually kill the pain.
