Well aside from sounding like it would taste vile, I don't think salvinorin A is active orally, so it would likely be ineffective. Also, the only people i've known who've made home made absinthe experienced a lot of vomiting.

You can use alcohol to extract Salvinorin-A, but it is not active orally, so you would need to smoke it.
