Salvia is reality?

Hello all, I think that Salvia is one of the strangest and mysterious drugs on our planet. I think that the plant itself has some intelligence bound within it. Why? Well I'll start off with a story of three of my friends who all tried salvia in different parts of their life, and all three have scary similarities in their trip. After hearing about this, I have seriously started to question reality.

Friends D, R, J.

D was the first one to try it 4 or 5 years ago when we were in Grade 10, his tale of the experience was that at first he felt his upper and lower mouth going separate ways (I've experienced this to), and then all of a sudden he felt a "zipper" sensation near his mouth and he felt he himself had been opened. He was in a place which was all green and a man in all green walked up to him and said, "This is reality, what you see everyday is not," then laughed. Keep in mind he was at Grade 10 at the time, no way a kid in Grade 10 will ever have any questions about if what we perceive every day is real or not.

J was the next to trip, we smoked salvia again at one of my friends basement. This friend is kind of stupid and doesn't really understand much about drugs, besides "Oh I wanna get high man,". So after he takes his hit, he runs out of the room goes to a couch kneels down and falls with his head first into the couch. He comes back after 3-4 minutes looks at me and says, "I feel like a "zipper" being opened."

Finally 4-5 months ago my friend R comes over to my house late at night, and I tell him I have some Salvia wanna try it. We go outside on my neighbours porch, its pouring outside, I decide to let him take hits first. He smokes, sits down, and is gone within 30 seconds. His mouth stays wide open, he occasionally moves his neck left to right. He eventually turns to me and seems to recognize me and then he keeps saying my name, or trying to, reaches upto me, I grab him, he holds onto me but can't stand. He phases in and out of the "real world" and our world, I can tell because at moments he sees me and then he'll just look past me, with a glazed over expression. What he tells me after his trip was, he saw a comforting person, he didn't know who it was, but the person told him that where he was, "was reality," but he didn't belong there. And then he tells me his trip back to this world started with him seeing me and he said to himself, "Holy shit thats x," and he would phase in and out of our world and the salvia world. And during the shifts between worlds he said I was often upside down, and it felt like his vision was split in half.

After this trip R told me about D's first trip on Salvia, and the similarities between theirs, and I told him about J's first trip and the zipper thing. Since then we're even scared to talk about this, because what it really means is what we see isn't real.

Something even more fucked up, which just came up recently is an article in the Toronto Star newspaper, which said through studies of blackholes and other basic physics, scientists think that what we see might just be a hologram, and that reality is in fact 2D. They are going to split a laser and time it or something to test this in a years time from now. I can post the link to the article later if anyone wants to read it. But whats fucked up was, after I showed R the article he told me that when he was in salvia land everything was in 2D, he had no depth perception sort of.

Finally the last and worst part, I can't seem to trip on salvia myself. I've researched on the internet and it seems some people are just naturally resistant to it for some reason. I've smoked 30x so far like a bunch of it, in a bong with a jet lighter and all I got was the heavy body feeling that everyone gets.

Sorry for the really long post, but I felt it necessary to really get my point across.

Thoughts?

im definately one of those people naturally resistant too it...
i can trip on salvia, but it takes a hell of a lot to get the desired effect... i am now lookin into DMT

Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised you guys already have an in depth thread on this lol. Thanks a lot for pointing me to it, I shall check it out.

Ah, the salvia zip. Weird.

Defintitely one of the strangest- if not the strangest- drugs on earth. Beautiful, but very very frightening.

Everything has a degree of intelligence bound within it, but- fact is- salvia "intelligence" only manifests (to humans) when ingested by humans (wow!! :D).

I've tried to break through on Salvia numerous times. Even tried 40x extract with no luck, but with all these stories maybe it's for the best I've never broken through.

I love salvia because its a dissociative (kappa opioid) in a way, but still psychedelic. There are things that CAN be learned from Salvia...that cant be learned by say ketamine.

To get a nice break through try being a little high on weed first. Pack a fat bowl, fatter than you can snap. Use a bong and burn it with a torch lighter, burn it the whole time you are sucking. Vaporize that bad boy. Inhale. Now heres the tricky part: no fake inhaling...you INHALE. then you move the bong away from your lips and in INHALE AGAIN from the air...to get that smoke DEEP into your lungs. If you dont inhale a second time it will just sit in your mouth and throat.

hold it in.
and try to get a legit brand of the stuff. Theres a few out there that say "x20" but it really means "5x". Make sure 20x is 20x...

This video addresses another theme of my own trips that I've seen discussed before, but that hasn't been elaborated on nearly as much as the "cyclical" phenomena. That is, the impression that the user belongs to an outside reality. This is the strongest of all the impressions I get during a salvia trip, from the first time I used it and every time I've used a full dose since. I always get up and start walking, trying to catch up to "them," who are always different, because I'm a part of their group and they're "leaving." The first time I used salvia it used my memory of my daycare group from childhood lining up to go outside to play as an indicator of this concept, another time it was a cavalcade of carnival teratologies in the wall paper, all lined up to ride a slide down through a crack at the bottom of the world, later it was groups of geometric Horus-like beings, or polygonal creatures inside a blue spine, with bars for vertebrae, swimming out into an endless golden ether.

It's cool that this guy could ask questions and get direct answers. I've always been too convinced of the world narrative I enter to ask questions of it -- or, more accurately, the first question I ask is more like "Wait. What's happening?". I need to try salvia again, I think. It's been so long. Maybe with a pre-recorded voice track to experiment with guiding the trip...

Holy fuck...I just smoked 30 x in my bed and felt myself put the bong down and lighter down after 2 hits, it didn't feel like i was doing it. then i remember my neck going backwards against the wall, and then i think my neck went left and a bit of spit came out of my mouth and my neck spun a lot clockwise while going down, i think halfway through this i realized i might be going somewhere else and I stopped and just looked up...but idk to explain this...i felt out of place and weird I think i remember asking is this the salvia trip, and then i just went back down to where my neck came out of sort of and had to loop myself back to the real world....i think i basically just stopped right before i was going to leave for a trip...i just smoked it so this might sound kind of fucked up...

I've come down a bit now, so more details. I realized that I was going into "salvia world" I think, I remember seeing something, it was triangular and blue and red and thats when I stopped. To come back, I had to retrace my head pretty much and had to move it counter clock wise, and I said before that I had a bit of spit come out of my mouth, when I got to that part of "neck spinning" I had to accumulate spit in my mouth before I could keep moving back.

I didn't come back to this world on purpose, it just happened to me. After I came back I got up and went to look out the window and said "This isn't Salvia land." Felt kind of bad and went back to my bed to sit down in the exact position to see if I could go back, but I couldn't.

I am too scared to try it again now, I will need a sitter for this to work I think.

No, salvia is a drug.

Salvia is a really fucking weird drug.

I tried it twice, found it baffling and unrewarding. Far too alien.

I realized why forcefully stopped the trip before it happened now. I remember reading somewhere on this site about someones trip where they lost full control of their body and were "allowed" to put down their bong and lighter and lie down on the bed. They said they were allowed by the Shadow God, and this is the exact same feeling I had, and I got too scared and just stopped it halfway, then was sort of in limbo stuck with my neck crooked facing my right, and had to figure out the way out, which was to retrace my "physical" way in. If I wasn't following this path I felt like I would be stuck outside of reality.

The repeating themes on Salvia (and to a lesser extent, on DMT and Ketamine) are really striking though. The "to the left" thing &c. It has to be a particular element of the pharmacology.

as regards the "to the left" business, I wonder, has anyone who is left-handed experienced that? have any lefies heard "t othe right?"

Salvia is amazing. You should be illegal.

Salvia shows some of us the truth about Life/Reality. Not everyone gets to be so lucky though.

Only the special souls.

Keep smoking extracts. They will start to show you amazing things you would have never thought possible.

If you REALLY want to learn something from it, DONT smoke it... the come-on is excessively rapid and our brains just do bizarro weird shit.

Rather, use it like the original Shamen who discovered it, cultivated it, and refined its use over thousands of years do it.... they strictly AVOID smoking. They chew/suck on it allow absorption through the mouth tissues, which gives a FAR slower and easier to comprehend come-up that you CAN actually learn things about the nature of the mind from.

Look up "Emerald Essence" There are other liquid extracts available, but many are uncontrolled and ineffective "salvia teas" really, nothing like this super-potent preparation from one of the original biochemists researching the drug. If there are other varieties that are as good it would be great to hear about them because EE is expensive.
