salvia in australia

heya
i have had salvia before, and have heard that is is actually legal in australia, can anyone confirm that?
unfortunately im finding it increasingly harder to get, and am interested in growing it myself. is this a viable option? i have read about growing/drying/extracting etc and it seems straight forward enough, anyone care to share their experiences?
also, are those sites on the net that sell seeds reliable? (such as ganja.co.uk) and will customs inspect that package?

yes salvia legal in oz.
yes u can grow your own.
hmmm, im not sure about ganja.co.uk.... i like to think im well informed about seed venders but i had never heard of this company. they are also very expensive. and i spotted a couple of spelling mistakes. and they used the wrong name for the san pedro cactus i believe. so i have my doubts about the site, though they might be legit.
there was a site in oz selling cuttings but theyve closed down at the moment. so salvia d is a bit hard to find at the moment.
so im really no help to u but thought id post anyway.

actually funny you posted this topic, i just happen to have a baggie of salvia in my hand. if you're in melb, get onto smith st there's a shop called happy high herbs and they stock it altho last i heard from the store owner they've been finding a little hard to legalise salvia and getting it into the shop. Sydney's got a branch as well, have a peek.
