Salvia First Time ~ How can any drug be that powerful?

Substance: Salvia Divinorum
Dose: 1/2 g 5* extract

I had a dream of smoking salvia and having a wild time! So I decided that maybe this is a sign. So I decided to get some.

I read about people not feeling anything, so I thought I'd do more than most people.

After I inhaled, I waited 5 seconds before exhaling. I repeated twice. I new the onset was something like 25 seconds so I tried to count to 25 in my head. I made it to 17. BAM! It hit me! I didn't notice for another 5 seconds by I had started to fall over. Then before I knew it I was on the ground and my friend was trying to help me get up. All of a sudden it had gotten dark out. Things slowly faded away, I don't remember how I got to this place, but It was like I shifted into another place. The grass on the ground was waving around in wild patterns as the sky turned from dark blue to light pink. My friend was just standing there, staring off into the distance not moving at all. I smiled with glee at this fascinating place. A car drove by and it's light looked so.. spectacular... A light beamed down from the sky and I felt free from my physical body, It felt like I was floating for a while.A flood of heat swept over my body followed by what felt like bugs under my skin. I just ignored this terrible yet delighting feeling.
A voice inside of me whispered "drink some water.." and it echoed through my mind. I tried running into my house and getting to the kitchen but I felt unable to control my legs into the direction I wanted them to go. I started fading in and out of different levels of conciousness, the next thing I know I am on my couch, as all reality slowly reveals itself back into me. For another 10 minutes, I could still notice minor effects of morphing of objects and time distortion, but atlast I could concentrate again.

I had clearly underestimated this powerful substance. This was by far the most intense trip I have ever had! It only lasted for a matter of minutes but during those minutes it was 5 times any other trip I have ever had before.

i tried salvia myself last weekend 1st time =)
but it was a bad exp.. i went to the smartshop and bought me half a gram of salvia 5x together with a crack-pipe hehe =)
i smoked like .2g and noticed not really a thing.. only my senses seemed a bit distorted.. then i finished the entire half gram in like 10 mins or so.. and nutting happened except the kinda strange sensation i noticed.

did i do something wrong ?? i kept the shit inhaled as long as i could but it didn't feel like anything u experienced.. pherhaps someday i will try some salvia 20x..
should i used a water-bong?? or what the pipe i used also good ??

that part sounded awsome. speciialy the pink sky part. god damn thatd be sweet.
 
I throught you had to smoke Sal. with a torch and a Bong. to get the full full effects from it. i didnt know if lighters were good enough
 
I mean smoking 5x in a crack pipe isn't gonna get you high. and if you don't get high on the first shot you need to wait a half hour and try again, salvia tolerance only lasts that long.
 
definatley rip it out of a bong... first time i tried it my buddy's were like it jus gets u high like weed so i was like fuck it, put some 40x in a big boy bong lol they were like clear it man an hold it in as long as u can.... i did ani was trippin balls for about 45 sec id say... couldnt move hardly laughin constantly an blurred an distorted vision real bad, i even tried to walk outside cause i felt packed in cause of so many people in this little trailor... i wouldnt ever do it again sucked bad an def not worth it
