I have done Salvia a couple of times, but only on one other occasion have I had a trip with complete visuals.
I was moderately happy, pretty relaxed.. ready to have a full experience with Salvia again. The room was dark and music was playing, the music didn't really affect the trip though.
I was using 40x salvia and a Medicali bong.
My dosage is a very rough estimate.. I just eyeballed it.
I pack a small amount into the bowl, maybe around 1/32 of a gram, and then torch it completely using a bong. After holding it in for about 30 seconds, I exhale, and begin to feel the subtle effects of a small dose of Salvia. My body feels like it's being slightly twisted, and pulled up and down. I am able to stand up and walk over to a chair. After waiting a few more seconds to make sure I am comfortable at this level, I ask my sitter to pack another small bowl. He packs one a bit larger than the first one, and I torch this one as well. It was probably around 1/20 of a gram.
I don't remember exhaling this hit. Although it should have been expected, I lose all contact with reality, and am immersed in another world. Everything is two dimensional, and the visuals aren't really colorful or vibrant, like LSD or shrooms. It was extremely surreal, but the best way I can describe it, I was a 2-D membrane, with many other 2-D (or maybe even 1-D?) membranes around me. When I moved, I felt like my entire being was moving, and I was pulling myself out of existence. I also didn't remember or think about anything human, such as breathing, being hot, thirsty, tired, etc. It all simply vanished.
At the time, I was mildly distressed, because I knew I had to leave, and I knew it would be for good. It was almost like I knew I was going off to my death, but I still could not even fathom leaving, although it was inevitable. This segment lasted about 2 minutes, and as a whole was very dysphoric. I only know the time because I asked my sitter afterwards. It really felt like I spent hours or days in that alternate reality.
After about 2 minutes, I slowly began to return to reality. However, I was still not sure what reality really was. My visions still persisted a bit, and although I could talk a bit to my sitter, as a whole I was still very confused. The fact that I could not figure out what reality was also contributed to the confusion even more. I was not sure whether or not I wanted to return.
Finally, I completely returned, and was able to comprehend reality. I managed to say a few words to my sitter, and told him I desired to continue. So, I closed my eyes, which brought on the visuals again, but this time, I was able to think them through while knowing what reality really was. This was very interesting for me, since it let me re-experience my trip in a way, while being more clear headed. Finally, I felt like I had come down enough to begin explaining things to my sitter. I still felt a bit strange for about an hour.
As a whole, this trip was very confusing, and a bit negative while I was in the Salvia mindset. However, once I was sober again, I thought it was all very interesting, and all the negative events in the trip just made it more of an experience.
The experience I had during this trip was very similar to the one I during my other intense salvia trip. Has anyone else experienced similar trips each time?
