salvia divinorum: regular, mazateca

i ordered 1/4 ounce of salvia divinorum about a week ago. Since some of the reports I've read seem like x-tra strength (5x, 10x) Salvia was used via bong hits and produced very dark, short lasting trips (or at least VERY intense), I decided to only smoke what I received using a pipe. I smoked about 1 gram of what i had and had only slight effects. Am I doing something wrong?
 
yeah, your using a fucking pipe thats the problem. dont pussy foot with salvia, just load it into a bong and hit that shit and prepare for launch! Use a torch lighter because salvinorin-a evaporates at high temps, higher than you would want to expereince with just a pipe, hence the need for a BONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! load a bowl, torch, inhale, hold for 30 seconds, while holding pack another bowl, exhale, repeat, until no longer existing.......

ok will do with a bong! BUT, can I still get the same effects with regular Salvia and not the x-tra strength Salvia, even using a bong???
 
I've smokes Salvia a few times and it was a complete waste of time. I did smoke off a bong and I was totally fucked up for about 15 min and then any feeling it gave me was completely gone. I would much rather smoke a lot of weed, at least that feeling will last a couple hours. My advice is not to waste your time or money on Salvia.

it's not about getting fucked up. if you want to get fucked up, yeah, smoke a fat blunt or whatever. i thought you knew better
 
Some people just don't "get" the Salvia high .. I smoked bong fulls of thr 10x and never got the super-hyper-space trip.... you CAN extract the salvinorin-A and this can be injected, in which case... well, lets just say that when you do it that way, you WILL SUCCEED at getting the full effects...
