salvia and Zyprexa

hi im taking 5 mg zpyrexa daily(im Bipolar). does it counter effect the salvia divinorum effects? Or i will trip normally anyone here tried it while on zyprexa tnx a lot!

It should counter at least some of the effects. Why would you take this drug though? It might throw you out of balance..

Salvinorum A (the active in SD) has agonistic activity at K and D2-receptors.

Zyprexa blocks (most) D2 activity but not K-activity.. Thus K activity (and perhaps some D2) remains.

so how come weed effect me the same way as it did before i took zyprexa i mean salvia is also smoething u smoke

Weather you smoke it or not has nothing to do with how the drug works. THC and salvinorin A act on completely different receptors in the brain. Weed effects you the same because Zyprexa does nothing (AFAIK) to the cannabinoid receptors.
