SWIM's Report:
-------------------
+9hrs: For a few seconds, the room got extremely bright and the walls in my periphery felt as if they had globs of white paint dripping down. This was more of a sensation rather than an actual OEV. Phosphenes began swirling from around my field of vision, toward a single point in the center of my vision. Everything seemed bright and mildly cartoony. The brightness went away after 3 minutes. I got the feeling that if not for the bupe, this would have been so much stronger. No CEVs.
Had a bit of hash and it seemed to bring back and prolong the effects a little. Felt warm all over. Had a bout of diarrhoea earlier and this seems to have cleared up. (Still felt uncomfortable before but almost totally dissipated after Salv. Read an abstract somewhere about diarrhoea being mediated by a mechanism other that KOR.)
Overall: 0.5 - 1 / 6
+13hrs: Definitive moderate-strong effects. Physically pulled in different directions. Sweats. Little mental activity aside from swirls of phosphenes behind eyelids. Physical effects lasted 30 mins. The sweats were bad though. The sensation of heat was overwhelming and that is exactly what I didn't want in the middle of a heatwave.
Overall: 1.5 / 6
+15hrs: Took 2mg bupe. Felt better physically. However, still had lucid dreams at night. Kept waking up in the middle of the night tossing and turning as if I was in opiate withdrawals. Woke up the next morn with a TERRIBLE fatigue. No body pain however. No aches. Mild case of the runs.
Conclusion: I will never be able to breakthrough as long as bupe is in the equation. I am still surprised I was able to feel strong physical effects after waiting 13 hours post bupe (2mg). Will try a later experiment at 24 and 36 hours followed by 72 hours. For now, I need rest and more damn bupe! I feel like I've been run over by a train. Walking from one end of the house to the other is a herculean task. ![]()

Although I do remember reading an abstract that Salvia, when used to alleviate diarrhoea, does so by a mechanism possibly other than KOR (Kappa Opioid Receptor). Trying to look for that abstract....
