As the world peels away.
Here's the setting, its a Thursday night, nothing special, I was just going to kick around and watch TV for the night, until I got home and realized my latest order of Salvia 5x extract came in the mail! It came packed with 2 bags of Kava Kava Teas as well. So around 7:00 or so I heat up a cup of Tea and retire to my room to watch some television. I check my e-mail and see that a friend of mine is in town for the night, I quickly sign off and call her (L) up, and ask her if she wants to swing by? L shows up at around 10:30 or so, we chit chat for a little and I then proceed to ask her if she is in the mood to try out the salvia with me, this would be her first experience with the magical plant. She agrees to it quickly.
We head outside bong and salvia in hand and hop into her car. I take the wheel because I want her to trip first. We go to a back road and I fill up the bong with about 80mg. and give her the instructions. She goes ahead and finishes it off, kicks back, and just looks at me weird, like what the fuck is going on? Apparently she didn't trip as hard as I would have expected, but she said she was "mad fucked up".
Anyways, it was my turn now. I have her take the wheel and I hop into the back seat. I pack the bong with about 120-130mg. and take a few deep breaths and dive in. I get my usual 2 full chambers in, and then it started, the peeling away of the world. I didn't even realize I had began tripping due to the fact that I left my eyes open, the whole time I could see my house and my friends L's head on top of the chimney and I was somehow connected to my house and L, and slowly but surely the whole picture I saw was peeling away, starting from the left side of my body.
Every time a piece peeled away I could feel it coming off of my body, and as soon as it peeled I felt a coolness of some sort come over my body in that area that just got peeled away. Soon enough the peeling got to my face, apparently L said I threw off my glasses, then the peeling came to my hands, and L said I then threw the lighter out of my hand. L also said the whole time I was counting down from 5 to 1.... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. I had Tori Amos playing in the background, and one of the lines of the chorus was "where are the keys boy" (or something to that effect) and I kept thinking I had to find the keys and start the car and escape from whatever was coming to get us, which I thought was the police.
Well when the peeling got all the way to my right hand I felt it was time to give up, so I snapped out of it, and realized where I was and what I did, and I was just laughing my ass off for the last 5 minutes of my trip L said. I guess I was laughing more in the sense of relief, from what though? I don't know.
Anyways, once I realized it was still Thursday night and I was still my normal self I felt a great relief pour over me. I had L drive me to the nearby Starbucks, I needed to see something "real" to drill into my head that I was still on this planet, it worked. We just went back to my house and chilled in my room for the next hour or so, I felt wicked stoned and was still having problems separating the "real" world from my trip world, it was quite interesting and amusing at times. Anyways, overall this was a scary ay first but fun trip.
