At this point in my life (a few months ago) I had a confident mindset and was content and at ease with my place in the world. I had not planned to trip on salvia this particular day but I felt pretty confident it wouldn't be a big deal (it also could have been that my friend had done it right before I did and he said it wasnt that intense from a little pinch of it like he said he would give me).
Setting: Fresh out of work just looking to hang out with a long time, good-friend of mine, Dan. So I call him when I leave work. Dan says he is with his roommate /buddy of mine, Alex, and Alex's sister Alysia who I have known as long as Alex.
I am sitting in a chair in the corner of Dan and Alex's living room and Dan Alex and Alysia are sitting on a couch a few feet to the right of me. The living room is attached to the "pool-table" room and there's a large doorway that connects them. This doorway was directly to my left.
The report: Dan packs the bong up and tells me he's going to give me as much as he gave himself. His dose made him giggle uncontrollably but he was still able to talk and respond to questions.
Alex lit the torch lighter and handed it to me. I didn't want to ice myself so I put my mouth to the bong and put the lighter to the bowl and...
T+00:00:00- The dark salvia leaves covered in extract erupt in flames and I pull on the bong until the salvia pulls through. I pull the bowl out to clear it. I hand off the bong to Dan. Then I sat back in the chair and wait.
T+00:00:40- I start to feel something happening and I exhale the smoke. I feel like I'm ripped off some good cannabis for a second. I notice myself smile and I'm pretty sure I smiled to show my friends I was confident about what was about to happen. That smile stuck the whole trip.
T+00:01:00- I start to notice waves of energy going through my body from left to right, each wave keeps getting more intense.
T+00:01:30- The waves are becoming so intense I am starting to get nervous even though there's a huge grin plastered on my face.
T+00:02:00- I feel strong waves of air hitting my body from the left and I feel as though an industrial size fan is set up right next to me. This causes me to look to my left where the pool room is... but the pool room isn't really there. I mean it is, but it's folding over and over with each wave of energy and the folds keep getting bigger and closer to me until they start hitting my body and going right through it. When each fold of the room hits my body I feel the actual dense matter of the whole room moving through the matter in my body and it's a shocking kind of buzzing/tingling as it moves through my body. I definitely wouldn't consider it a pleasant feeling.

?- The folds started at the far left side of the room and after they hit me they kept making their way across the room in front of me from left to right. I look to the right at my friends and they all look completely normal just staring at me laughing.
At this point I have forgotten I'm on salvia and I believe my friends can see what I'm seeing and I find it very odd that they seem so content and even happy that their whole world is folding and manipulating itself.
I try to talk to them and ask them what is happening but it comes out as if I have a speech impediment and this kind of frustrates me because I feel like I'm making a fool of myself.
Now I'm at the peak and I discover the waves are making a golden Nike swoosh shape through my body and the same shape is cutting the room from corner to corner. The left side of the swoosh is folding in waves and the right side is completely normal. I become infatuated by the swoosh cutting the room so I stand up and follow the visible golden line that is dividing the room and when I walk from the corner I was sitting in to the other corner where the swoosh ends, I notice the line had stayed directly in the middle of my chest as I walked across the room... As if it was my chosen path... kinda like the Donnie Darko blob thing that Donnie sees coming from peoples chests.
I turned around and went back to my seat to experience one last strong wave of the salvia trip and I fall out of my chair trying to touch the folding room.
T+00:08:00- I'm able to talk again and the first thing I said was "I know I looked like I did but I did not enjoy that" even though the same smile was stuck to my face. Things look slightly different still but I can sense where I am. I'm confused and I'm at a loss of words because to me it seemed like something life altering and amazing had just happened and my friends were already back to watching t.v. and eating chips.
T+00:15:00- I'm almost back to baseline but with a slightly stoned/ out of it feeling coupled with a slight euphoria.
This was the most intense psychedelic experience I've had so far. There was no euphoria during the trip but there was a slight afterglow that I attribute to coming out of my most intense experience without having any strong anxiety or problems. This experience has made me confident enough to try most other psychedelics because I believe most psychedelics I intend on trying will never be as intense as this experience.
