So I've been wanting to get some salvia to experience. I've been reading up on it, and it sounded like the exact effects that I've been looking for. So I head downtown and find a shop that has some salvia...but he only had 20x or higher. I was hoping for 5x since I've never done it before, but decided to go ahead and get the gram of 20x.
Fast-forward to today and I load up a bowl of about 1/8th of my original gram (as I've seen suggested numerous times). Hit it, and felt a small change in perception, but nothing major. Yes, I was holding the flame correctly...Yes, I held the smoke in for a good 20+ seconds. Still, only a slight change.
So, I load up a slightly bigger bowl and hit it again...this time, the effect is a bit stronger, but still nothing like what I was expecting to get...especially from 20x.
So, I load up a pretty large bowl and hit that...wham!
I'm sitting on my bed doing all of my smoking and my laptop is across the room. I look at my laptop which is at the time playing some music, and my trippy screen saver is going. It is sitting right next to my desktop computer's monitor, and it seems as if both are looking at me and talking. They both seemed to be coaching me in my trip. I can't remember much of what they told me, but I do vividly remember being told to "sit back, relax, and hold on for my life"
I proceeded to lie down on my bed and just close my eyes and relax. My legs were kind of moving as if they were their own entities, as I had no control over them...but I continued to stay lying down. At this point, I'm giggling a bit and am seeing visuals of what seem to be recent memories, playing back before my eyes in a movie-like format. There were so many details coming at me at this point that I can't remember much.
One very creepy point of the trip that sticks out is during this time, the singer of one of the songs playing (I assume) starts saying "follow me, I'll lead you through this place" or something to that effect...and those were the last words of the song. The song was over and I kinda freaked for a few, thinking I'd be lost in this place I was in...but I managed to calm myself down.
All of a sudden, I hear a loud bang and hear someone saying "come back here!" I wake up, smile to myself, give a sigh of accomplishment, and put up all of my equipment. All in all, a wonderful experience. Different, for sure.
