Salvia – first real experience – Oh. My. God.

How strange, this concept of a "Third Eye" sounds all too plausible after reading this. Bloody good report. :)

dude thats a fucken good report makes me want to go hunting for some of this myself

Never thought i'd manage to feel nostalgic about salvia, given how terrifying my second and last experience was. Excellent report.

I think extract is too expensive, and for me, leaves have worked just as well, besides, I like taking huge rips off bongs, only problem is that the damn smoke is too harsh. I think I`ll get some extract too though, just to experiment by myself and find out if what I`ve been saying is true(my statement was that leaves work just as well for me as extract). But maybe when I`ve tried the extract again, I`ll make my own extract.

that was a great read thanx for sharing man.

im thinking of getting some help and knowledge from this plant iv read so much about, cant wait untill i experience her magic:D

Dude... you should read
The Cosmic Serpent - DNA and the origins of knoledge by Jeremy Narby

The way you described being told about the brain by a force that was not you is very similar to the way shamans in the amazon describe being told about the world by their gods while under the influence of ayahusca (DMT).

The author makes some pretty far out theories (although with fairly good research) that our DNA is infact communicating with us and communication with other DNA molecules in all other living things.

This book and your trip report make me very interested in drugs like Datura and DMT for unocking some spiritual and even scientific answers to the questions of the universe.

old thread , but wow, a good one
thanks for sharing
i do belive we, as psychonaut, are doing good by sharing our trip
(sorry i still havent shared mine...:| )

and...
Marshall McLuhan:
"The Medium is the Message"
i do think that we (or they...) must take the compound to have the message

this is the best written salvia experience i have ever read!

instead of typing out all the things you saw, you were more detailed on how you felt, which is more of what salvia is all about.

feeling the trip :)

I dont know.. with salvia what you feel is what you saw. its like you can go as far as you want into reality distortion with salvia, and to me thats just playing with the crazy visuals.

the real trip report is what happend to you.. eg:

As i held the smoke in I realized that actually I was just sitting in the presence of God and I wasn't high at all, rather for the first time in my life I was conscious of being sober. I opened my eyes/delved into the mystic real, and (fantasy scene). Then for the rest of the day I noticed an unusually high level of reality with my personal interactions.
