Post dutasteride syndrome is definitely something that happens.

RU is a topical dht blocker, meaning it primarily affects the androgen receptors in the scalp and not the rest of the body. It does go systematic to some degree, but very few people report sides. Post dutasteride syndrome is definitely real, but seems far less common than post finasteride syndrome for some reason. You can look at the meta analysis and see it has fewer side effects.
