Safety Precautions for camping

So a couple of friends and I are going to be going on a camping trip and taking MDMA. There are a few factors though. We have tested 100 mg capsules. We would all be taking anywhere from 100-200 mg with a redose. None of us will be exceeding 200 mg. We are experienced users as well. So the first question is what time of the day should we take it?

Normally we take them at night around 9 so we can stay up all night or at least until around 4pm, but with camping we would prefer not to waste our next day by sleeping although it is cooler at night and hotter during the day. So would taking the caps during the late afternoon say 4 or 5 be worse for us because of the heat? Would we be able to sleep by around 1 or 2am?

The second question is that as we are aware of drinking electrolyte drinks and water I only see advice for how much water to drink each hour. If we were to drink only Gatorade how much should we each drink an hour?

The third question is how would one of us know the first signs of overdose or taking to much? What should we do in that case? I have heard of benzodiazepines, how many of those would needed to be taken? How else could the experience be weakened could citrus or vitamin C?

Last question I know MDMA can cause nausea in people and a few of my friends have thrown up before because they ate before. How many hours should we fast? Does the fasting make the effects stronger? If so should we reduce our doses?

id say pop em at 6-7 roll till like 10 11 12 re dose if needed i wouldnt as it gets nurotoxic each redose.... question 2 dont drink straight gatorade the whole roll drink water and if you feel like water isnt getting rid of the cotton mouth drink small sips of the gatorade... question 3 you'll all be euporic and ur eyes will be rollin back and yeah thats how u'll know as for fatal dose you'd have to do atleast a gram of legit mdma.... and last question dont even worry about throwing up cuz once u puke u'll be fine and yeah it does but eat like 4 hours maybe 3 hours before you pop soo you abssorb better ;) have fun man dont do this shit alot - good luck
 
Anybody have an exact amount or idea of how much Gatorade in conjunction with water?

It's kinda irrelevant, just use your common sense and stay hydrated. The only reason for drinking water/electrolyte drinks is to stay hydrated. Spending your whole night worrying about your liquid intake balance is just gunna ruin the experience. I usually drink about 2-3 bottles of water across the evening (so approx 1L-1.5L's) and find that's about right. More and I'm usually pissing ferociously on the comedown - not ideal. If you're not dancing drink less. If you're sweating a lot drink more.

Whenever you want to? I usually time mine so I'm coming up to a good DJ or something, but that's obviously a different setting. If you decide to take it during the day when it's hot then just keep up your hydration - listen to your body when it's sweating. You can usually tell when you're thirsty.

Would we be able to sleep by around 1 or 2am?

I'd say you can sleep about 7-8 hours after dropping, depending on when you redose. The last rave I went to I dropped 150mg at 12, re-dosed at 2:30 and then was able to sleep on the train at 7-8am.

I wouldn't worry about that if you're all taking 100-200mg of tested MDMA. You'd have to drop a whole lot more to even get near to overdosing.

How else could the experience be weakened could citrus or vitamin C?

Unlikely to change all that much, although there is debate regarding vitamin C. It is thought to dampen the effects of usual amphetamines, but i'm not convinced about MDMA. Unless you're taking super high doses of vitamin C, I really doubt it would change the high at all, but it is an antioxidant which is good.

Does the fasting make the effects stronger?

In my own experiences, dropping on a very empty stomach did result in a stronger experience (second day of a festival after barely eating anything all weekend).

If so should we reduce our doses?

I wouldn't drop a dose below 100mg. I think 100-120mg initial drops with a redose later sounds perfectly safe and reasonable, even on an empty stomach.
 
Make sure that you have set your camp up before dropping, have your tents built, a safe fire pit dug and wood if your collecting, collected. Designate a 'place' to use as the bathroom that is close enough to your camp that you can easily see it but still have privacy.

Using during the day can be a wonderful feeling but take into consideration the dangers if your hiking or in a dangerous place (mountains etc) remember that your judgement may be impaired so don't decide to go climbing etc. Also remember if your using during the day and walking, or just chilling out to make sure your protected from the sun - it's very easy to forget about sunburn etc
 
If you are chilling and not hiking or dancing you won't need a ton water unless it is really hot.

I would water down the gatorade. It is good for you but if you drink a lot of it you might get sick from all the salt and sugar.

When I go to outdoor raves I have a camelpak and put one tab of electrolytes per liter of h20.

As for hydration, the easiest one to do IMO is get a 2L bottle, mix half and half with pure OJ and tap water, add half a teaspoon of table salt. Voila, you have your own isotonic sports drink. 2 litres will be more than enough, but nowhere near dangerously high so just aim for that - you might want a second one for the next morning too, you'd be surprised how dehydrated you can get sleeping in a roasting hot tent.
 
Where are you going to be camping and what are you doing during the roll?

The horror stories about dehydration and water intoxication usually involve 12 hours of non stop dancing in hot and or humid locations.

If you guys are just going to be chilling by the fire in the mountains just have a few liters of water and gatorade around and sip on it when you feel thirsty.

Like I said the only times I have been fiending for water while rolling is when it's very hot and I'm dancing my ass off.
 
I personally have never heard of, or witnessed people being dehydrated or over hydrated on 200mg of MDMA in a chilled out environment. Unless you are dehydrated prior to dropping (if you have been hiking, climbing etc) then I would not worry about hydration when your rolling - drink water etc when you feel thirsty.
