Safely obtaining drugs in a dangerous area

wow, this thread scares the crap outta me. as a chick i dont think i'll be attempting anything like this anytime soon.but its good to have to information regardless :\
 
Well if you got that attitude then you best not step out your safe zone cuz thinkin like that you aint nothin but a mark. Im a chick and I done this shit before so dont let that stop you, but like i said chick or not...if you got that fear then best avoid the shit all together. If you aint got confidence you get walked all over. You gotta know whats up and if you dont, mutha fuckas can tell.
 
From another thread, me showing my friend some tips on his first excusion to the hood.


- Had him only bring cash and his ID.
On foot
- Look like you know what your doing and dont act nervous or skiddish
- Dont go down alleys
- Dont go to that group of homies that whistle you over
- Dont walk around, or cop drugs in general, in your brand new Polos sporting your watch that Grandma left you. Wear some dirty, shitty clothes.
- Make sure you have the drugs plus check them out to make sure they are real (important) and that the size is what you paid for before you give money to anyone.

Copping from a car
- Keep doors locked
- Windows are only to be cracked to make the exchange.
- Know multiple quick ways out of the area including the most direct and the most complicated as well.
 
wow i just found this thread and i love it. where i live you virtually have to know someone to get hold of H. once you know someone you call them and then you meet somewhere. if you become a good customer and buy weight they will probably deliver.

now there are drive by crack areas here. i have never copped anything on the street - but i have been with people who copped crack from people they didn't know.

personally, i don't understand the idea of buying from someone you don't know - but i have even been with people in other cities who score crack from people standing in 'crack' areas.

for some reason this is not done with chiva - at least that i know of - in my town.

That stood out to me as well. I also only ever go to the 'hood for H; every other 20-something in the 'burbs slangs weed or has readily available the info on someone who does.*

*IME, if such a disclaimer is even warranted. (It shouldn't be).
 
great thread - scoring can definitely be pretty scary(a thrill too!)

lived in the tenderloin in SF for a couple years - first place i ever copped dope. Not the most dangerous neighborhood i'm sure but it has a reputation - i enjoyed living there for the most part and never felt unreasonably unsafe. after hearing: "dope" "morphine" "crack" etc called out every time i stepped outside, i got pretty used to it; felt more or less at home and accepted by the majority of the wide variety of people on the street(most of whom i would have avoided at all costs just a few years ago). got to know some of the regulars and whenever i make it to the city these days i take a stroll through the old neighborhood. . . maybe do a little business exchange. . .
 
Yeah copping in SF isn't that risky. I've never felt like I needed to be super cautious over there.
 
^^ You can get burned in the TL if you aren't on your toes, but I've never seen a customer get hurt.

I used to wake up super fucking early to go on my morning runs. Moved to Oakland, now I sleep in.

I've never coped anywhere I didn't feel was safe... I think I bought weed once in middle school with a friend from a random guy off the street. All dealers I've known deal out of their house-- go there, talk for a bit, exchange, leave. And I usually buy from the same guy, have others dealers in my phone but I'm a pretty monogomus drug user and buyer.

This is what probibits me from getting H... don't know an H dealer who deals out of his house. In some moments of desperation I considered going to the street but ultimately I'm too much of a pussy to deal with H street dealers.... afraid of getting raped, robbed, etc. There are some times it really sucks to be a skinny white girl.
 
Had cops following us out of the cop spots in Nowhere u need to know the other day...but gave us no trouble even with expired tags. They know what we're doing there, I think they have bigger problems to worry about...Just don't be an idiot and you'll be fine.

Dont post specific locations. General references to a city=OK. references to a particular neighborhood or area of a city=NO.

If you dont live there, you dont belong there. Any outsider are targets essentially. If you really need to get to the hood to cop. Do it in the day light hours.....actually dont even try to cop in the hood if your reading info to do it in this thread

i cant believe nobody's mentioned this... just go to a liquor store in the hood! look for the one with people standing by the entrance. as you're walking in, someone will usually ask if you're "cool". if you're not "cool" (i.e. fiending for drugs), this is the part where you tell them what you need in order to be "cool." other times if people are selling single squares, odds are they probably got other things to sell as well. usually the pm rush hour is the best time, after people get off of work.

First time trying to cop today in Philly. I went around 1pm and left around 3 something..

I knew some areas from driving other people there before so i went and drove around and rolled down my window listening if anyone would whisper they had shit as I would look over and kind of nod at the corner boys. After about an hour of this and going thru the same neighobhoods for an hour I decided to call it quits as I was probally already suspicious as shit and there was mad cops around. As I was leaving I see someone signal me as I drove by, so i gave him the thumbs up and pulled over and he hopped in. He asked if i needed dope or crack and i said dope. So i ask for a couple of bags and i drive him around the corner to his house, he brings me out 2 of the 4 bags i needed and tell me to drive around the corner to go to his neighbors to get the other 2. I'm starting to think "wow, this is taking way too long". I bring him to the other corner and he gets out, I park down the street, a cop rolls by super slow, I avoid looking directly at him, even though I'm sure I stood out in that area like crazy. he comes back to the car and he tells me to drive back to his house a block away. So we get there and right as he is getting my other bags ready I see a cop creeping up the streets towards my car in my mirror. So I mention this to him so he wouldnt take the bags out right that second, but instead he gets out of the car shady as fuck and runs home without saying anything. The cop drove past and went up a steet and sat there for a good minute. I waited for about 3 minutes then decided he's probally not coming back, I already got 2 bags on me, and it's not worth sitting here with the cop knowing I'm here and shit.

If I ever try to go down there again I'm definetly not bringing my car, I'll probally take the El so I can then walk around and not have to worry about my car aswell as myself.. Oh and the dope quality? The heroin to cut ratio was 1-10, didn't even get high. Totlly wasn't worth the gas money, effort, time, hassle, stress, risk of getting busted, etc.
 
What is the best way to check if the item you are getting is legit? I think the fact that I bite my nails will hinder my quick and speedy opening and checking...
