Ok. So after many years experience of injecting methamphetamine and working in harm reduction here is some tips that work for me personally (as everyone reacts differently) so can be worth using a 27 or 29 gauge 1ml syringe with sterile injecting water as well as a swab also what is very good to use as well is what’s called a stericup and a blue sterifilt, these are filters that fit on to the end of your syringe which you draw your liquid up through which is sterilizing the injectable liquid a bit like running it through a wheel filter, definitely use them if accessible if not you can settle for cotton and your cooker, I would advise against using the material from a cigarette filter like a lot of people do as they often contain fiberglass like strands which you can inject into your veins. I’m not going to say what dose to do as that should be decided from your past experience, I will say when I first started injecting meth it would be no less than 300mg which is a huge dose and not recommended in the early stages. These days I don’t go above 100mg and the thought of doing a 300mg shot is really off putting. Now one thing I would do is at the beginning add 0.1ml of water to every 0.1mg of meth and if you draw it up properly your liquid in the syringe will double so 100mg + 0.1ml of water will grow to 0.2mg of liquid in syringe any more your stuff is cut and less then you might want to do a washout and draw up since you haven’t drawn up well or your stuff is cut also. Once you have got your product in syringe you can see how it’s grown and then I’d suggest adding more water to washout and draw up into the syringe to water down the solution so it’s not so tough on the veins, doing the minimum 0.1ml to every 100mg can be very harsh on the veins.
Not sure what your veins are like but if not so easy to access then use a tourniquet if able to, sometimes it’s good to have someone there to release it and make sure you get good flashback and injects smooth slow and steady, always make sure to swab also and suggest washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before, can clean the site with soap and water before swabbing also.
