I have a tolerance of about 40mg oxymorphone insufflated per day. I just slapped on a 100mcg/hr fentanyl patch 4.5 hours ago and am starting to nod; think i'll be alright?

secondly,

assuming the same price would you rather buy one 30mg roxi, or three 60mg morphine pills (and would you rather have mallies or kadian?)

and tricomb you merged my thread with the opana megathread and it had literally nothing to do with opana. Seems like you are at your house busting rails and just literally on bluelight 24/7. go outside bro
 
Please edit your post instead of double posting. And if you have an issue with a moderators actions you should PM them or one of the Sr mods which would be NeigbourhoodThreat or Muvolution.

Also if I were you I would take that fentanyl patch off right now, it is much stronger than oxy.

Regarding your other question you have already asked that and you do not need to post it again once a moderator has chosen to move it to a megathread.

I converted 40mg snorted to 160mgs oral. then to fent Iv it said 1.6mgs. that doesn't really mean much and wearing the patch transdermally i doubt i ever have more than 1.6mgs of fent in my blood at one time
 
How did you convert 40mg snorted to 160mg oral? Where are you getting this information? For your own safety you really should take that patch off. You could stop breathing!

You're feeling effects at 4.5 hours, it takes 13 hours to really kick in. If you value your life remove it and have someone with you RIGHT NOW.

I apologize for this mistake, it was a mistake although the title of your thread indeed was Opana related. I honestly don't know how this escaped me, but I assure you I am not at my house, or "busting rails". Once again, I apologize for the mistake. Right now, what matters is you removing the patch and having someone to watch you and make sure you continue breathing, as fentanyl has built up in your skin and will continue to get stronger and stronger for hours.
 
well there is no option on that converter for snorted oxyM. so since oral ba is 10% and nasal is 40% i extrapolated 160 oral from that. thanks for the advice guys i'll be on the safe side and take it off.
 
I think you have worked it out wrong. Nasal BA may be higher but the difference won't be that extreme. I am glad you are taking it off. The effects might still continue for a bit though. Do you have someone who can stay with you?

Not at all, it was my fault for merging your thread into a megathread where it didn't belong. I don't know how it happened, but I think it has something to do with me having 18 tabs open in firefox. I miss the octagons too, I can't get them anymore (for a price I'm willing to pay anyways) so I've switched to hydromorphone and occasionally opana IR.


Do you have anyone with you? a nod 4.5 hours into a fentanyl patch is a BAD sign. 100mcg/hour was way too high, somewhere along the conversion, something didn't happen right. However, I would have done the same thing as you, factoring nasal being 4x stronger than orally, I would have put 4x the oral dose I would need. But as we found out, Thank GOD in time, even the smallest error when calculating conversions can be lethal.

Don't fuck with fentanyl just cuz our octagons are no more bro! There are other options. Fentanyl isn't even euphoric, what's so cool about being semi-conscious and struggling to breathe? (every experience I've had with RECREATIONAL use of fentanyl)
 
yeah agreed, not to mention that transdermal fentanyl is almost completely absorbed. I believe the BA is very high. I found this which you might find interesting for future reference on fentanyl's strength.
 
Yeah fentanyl's transdermal BA is 95% IIRC.


edit: According to wikipedia it's 92%. That's damn good. IMO this can be compared to people snorting or even injecting common benzodiazepines. Remember all those people who would shoot temazepam gelcaps? Temazepam's oral bioavailability is like 96% why the hell lose limbs over 4% BA and 15 minutes of onset?
With benzo's they should be taken orally.

With fentanyl, it should always be taken in the form it was intended by the manufacturer, most commonly the transdermal patch. Even more dangerous are the instant release breakthrough forms of fent, tablets for buccal/sublingual (Fentora) and the buccal lollipops (Actiq) and of course, IV-fentanyl citrate (Sublimaze). If discarded improperly, these things can kill your cats and your kids.
