Safe to take methoxetamine on a recreational dose of bupe?

I'll be doing 1 - 2 mg of bupe tonight and I'd like to smoke some MXE. I'll keep the dose low (no more than 30 mg snorted), but since I think smoking is less efficient I might use a little more. I've smoked it before and got FX; does anyone think smoking it isn't worth it?

Smoking MXE is not worth it.

Sublingually or plugged are your best ROA's besides the needle which I do not recommend.

MXE mixes well with opioids as it has some Mu activity and will potentiate your bupe.

The reason I want to smoke it is so I can titrate my dose better, and get it more immediately. Also I don't mind it not lasting as long.

There is no indication that I have a salt: how likely is it that I have the freebase? If it was MXE-HCl, wouldn't it say that?

It is unlikely that you have freebase. Very unlikely.

If you want to get it more immediately I would recommend plugging.

Been doing hits off tin foil (sorry Tripman, reminds me too much of "chasing the dragon" :P), and so far so good. Maybe actually bump some in a bit.

Try sublingual, the onset should be quicker.

Snorting is one of the worst ROAs for MXE.

I'll forgive you for smoking it ;).

You can indeed, don't go overboard though, keep to doses you are familiar with.

Hope you are either snorting or plugging your bupe!

The first dose of bupe was I think about 1 mg, ~1/8 of a N8 strip I then let dissolve in 43% EtOH whiskey, put in cotton balls and held under tongue. won't bother with all that if I do take some more bupe, will probably shoot for ~.5 mg. Recently my bupe usage has been 2 mg insufflated so I feel like I'm well within my comfort zone. Right?

Ah yes the ole alcohol sublingual method. Also not a bad ROA when the alcohol is added.

Yes, you are well inside your comfort zone.

Go for it I say. :D.

MXE and bup have a perfect synergy IMO.

the MXE gives the bup the extra push it's mixing, definitely worth trying

Tripman is supporting a combination that is potentially lethal. You should never mix two deppressants and thing its okay, especially something as dangerous as opiods and an unknown rc.

The OP has a tolerance to Bupe and MXE experience. He used less bupe than usual, and mixed it with a small amount of MXE.

While yes, there is a risk mixing CNS depressants - he did it in the safest manner by taking less bupe and MXE than usual.

If you have a problem with me PM NeighborhoodThreat BDDs Senior Moderator or Alasdairm our Administrator. Don't make petty posts around the forum about me. As this will cause the other moderators to notice and undoubtedly take action against you, I would rather that did not happen. I think one of the main problems you'd be looking at is just nausea, though that may have just been my own experiences. Either way, worth picking up some antihistamines, even if you don't end up using them, they're very useful to have lying around.

Exactly how sedative is MXE? Not as much as ketamine, that much is clear. It's not particularly stimulating but sometimes it does have an edge to it, but it also has high potential for couch lock. I never noticed significant respiratory depression. Can someone say more about MXE and resp. dep.?
