Safe to take Methadone right now?

I took 3.5 10/325 norcos and sipped scotch while fishing today since 12:00 PM. I have some 10mg Methadone pills that I got a while back and I have only taken them one time before. I take norco almost every weekend. Would it be safe to take a Methadone tonight? My buzz seems to have wore off and I am out of the Norco. I still have a full night ahead of me.

i would just take 1 methadone and you'll probably be chillin..don't overdo it

just keep in mind for the future that mixing alcohol and apap can be quite taxing and hard on the liver; not the greatest things to be combining along with each other. also, methadone takes around 3 hours to reach maximum effects so don't make the mistake of thinking it's not working and redose too soon as you may find yourself in some trouble.

good idea on saving the methadone for another time, best to take by itself so you're not inhibiting the high with other drugs. as much "fun" as poly drug use can be it's got it's dangers and rightfully so.

Using methadone for recreational purposes is not a good idea, IMHO. It has a really long half life which is bad for your tolerance.

Try to avoid redosing if you decide to take it though.

To be safe, I prefer never to mix methadone with anything (especially alcohol- I'd never recommend mixing alcohol and opiates OR benzos). Risks aren't worth taking in my opinion.
