I got 100 somas in my possession. Each one contains 175mg of Carisprodol, and 350mg APAP. I popped 6 of them, so that comes out to 2100mg of APAP. I already drank 2 beers, should I quit drinking now, or can I safely have a couple more? I know a lot of APAP isn't great for your liver, but I was wondering if I could get away with it this one time, it's not like I do this all the time. What do you think? Thanks

let's see, you basically answered your own question....you know it's not good for you, and you don't do it often. So what re you looking for here?? I think if you're drinking St. Pauli's girl, then go ahead and ingest up to 6 beers. but if it's a lesser-quality beer, or a light beer, then go no more than 2 beers...i read somewhere that APAP doesn't interact well with Budweiser or Coors products.

A few beers shouldn't hurt you! ecspecially on 6 somas - how many do you think your going to be able to drink after taking all those pills!
You should be fine - just try to keep it to like a sixer or so!(give or take a few)

I know it's not *good* to drink alcohol with APAP, but I ingested 2100mg, along with 1050mg of Soma and I'd like to enhance my buzz a bit, I am curious if it would be safe just this one time... I dunno if size has anything to do with it, I'm about 275 pounds, right around 6 feet.

APAP, in strong enough dosages is toxic to your liver, alcohol just adds to that. you'd be really freakin surprised with how many people end up in the emergency room each day who OD'ed on APAP. then you have to tell all your boys, "tylenol almost killed me."
be careful with that stuff. some people are actually able to sort of "smell" (that's the best way i can put it) the APAP (or its chemical breakdown in your system) when it's takin in sufficient amounts. it's not like you have bad breath, only you will be able to smell it. so if you do pick up a weird scent, sort of like something is burning, you've definitely had enough APAP.
your liver can only (so it is said) handle 4g of APAP daily.

Deus, man, were you attacked by some DanceSafe Workers on your way to the board today? A singe dose of 2100mg APAP isn't going to hurt him or cause any damage to his liver, and a few beers won't really complicate things any worse at this point ..
I am one of the biggest anti-apap people out there, but I gotta agree with everyone else - this one time isn't gunna hurt him, and if it were it's nothing he wouldn't recover fully from.. yeah, the liver has a hard time breaking down APAP, but it's not like 2 grams will cause him damage.. as long as he doesn't make this a regular paracitce he should be just fine..
You can say "I told ya so" if he dies, if he has to go on dialosis then we will call it a draw until he dies, as which point you can sya "Told ya PhreeX" .. if he gets a transplant and does not die, then we encourage him to take more APAP as to rule outthe chance of a bum liver, if he dies the second time, you can say "I told ya so" AND use the bold tag, if he goes on dialosis again you may HINT that you did, in fact, tell me.. if he dies AFTER being on dialosis you may say "I told you so" HOWEVER the BOLD tag will not be permitted.. should he get ANOTHER transplant, you then have the choice of poisoning him to make it look like APAP, if you do this, you may say "I told ya so" AND usethe BOLD tag because murder isn't cheap so you should get something for it, we also wouldn't want to tip off the authorities that we have been killing board members for the last 2 years to simply prove our points to each other...

PhreeX buddy....I realize that its not that big of a deal for a one time thing...But these raver pill poppers tend to eat tons of these things. Who knows how much he has already consumed in the past few days, or plans on consuming...It all adds up my friend. If he gets in the habit of blowing off health concerns with his drug use, he could end up with that liver transplant. I must also point out I never said the damage would be serious. But hey, if you can avoid a little strain on your liver, why not do it?

You do know that if you kill him now and mail me a scanned copy of the reciept from the "professional" that "does the job" I will permit you to say "I told ya so" (though you may not use the bold tag if you kill him before he recieves any transplants)

Your offer intrests me. I will purchase a scanner tommorow. I would also like to appologise for missing him stating his future use intentions. Well after all that, I found that the damn Soma's didn't really do much for me anyway! I ingested the 1050mg of Soma (6 tablets)along with the 2100mg of APAP, drank 4 beers, and pretty much felt nothing except the very slight buzz from the beer and a little sleepiness. Maybe I need a higher dose of Soma to get off because of my size, but that wouldn't be safe because of all the APAP I'd have to ingest along with it. I'm thinking of throwing the rest out or giving them away or something. Thanks for the advice everyone (and the humor

I personally find Soma useless as a drug on its own, except for two purposes: getting drunk quickly, and enhancing opioids. I suggest you keep the Soma around if you have any opiates!
Incidentally, the worry dose for acetaminophen is pretty high. 4g/day is the limit on chronic use, and there is some talk that 6g/day may actually be safe. Single-dose liver toxicity occurs around 10g. See the HSDB at Toxnet, http://toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/ .
