safe to drink 2400mg of ibuprofen?

hey guys i've just tryed a CWE with nurofen plus with no success...usally i use panadine extra and that works fine,but this time my mate got me nurofen plus cos it had codiene in it and he thought it would work.

so is it safe to drink 2400mg of Ibuprofen?
Also any tips on filtering it every time i run i through a coffie filter it stays white :!

filter through a old shirt, coffee filters are weak, and break when u strain. and i would not touch that shit
 
old shirt abzorbes too much i dont suqize the filter i just leave it there to filter so i dont have to worry about it breaking...
is it safe to take that much ibo?
 
Not really... eat something big with it if you really intend to use this much ibuprofen.
 
im not sure if i got rid of some of the ibuprofen in the filtering prosess but the water is still very milky.
im gonna drink it so if i get a olcer you are to blame loulou reed =D jokes cheeres mate.

Just had a big dinner so i think i should be fine.....hopefuly
 
I bought some of these window cleaning cloths (were like $3 for 3). I soak them in water first and then squeeze as much out as possible. I then run the ibuprofen/codeine/water mixture through the cloth. Let it drip through and then squeeze as much as you can out of it, almost comes out dry. These window cleaning cloths don't like to hold liquid so you get a lot of the liquid from it. Ibuprofen always comes out a little milky, the pills with apap in always come out almost clear for me so I wouldn't be worried about too much ibuprofen getting through that cloth.

If you use a shirt make sure you wet it first and then squeeze all that water out otherwise all the codeine will soak into the shirt.

Ibuprofen mixture taste much better than the paracetamol mixture :p.
 
The maximum safe dosage of iburprofen in a supervised clinical setting is around 3200mg per day. With NSAIDS the question of whether or not is safe is kind of erroneous. You almost certainly won't die from it, but as these dosages escalate you are putting more and more stress on your body, especially your renal system. And of course death is a possibility if you are using copious amounts of these drugs. Venturing over the 3200mg mark would not be recommended, and if this is a one time thing, you will probably be fine. Just don't make a habit out of it.
 
The separation process was diffrent when i added warm water the pills took a very long time to dissolve then when place in the freazer i could barely see it separate it just turned into 1 glugy mixture then when i filterd it,it took ages to filter i filterd it 4 times but it dident make a diffrence....think ill just stick to panadine a whole lot less fuckin around taste much nicer n tablets disolve quick...

would it be safe to re-dose say 100mg of codiene n 2000mg of ibo.how about just swolloing 4 tablets?pritty sure i filterd out most of the ibo in the first CWE

That's because you used Nurofen Plus, always avoid this brand. It's not only overpriced but it just doesnt work. If you are going with the ibuprofen + codeine pills buy Panafen Plus or the chemist's home brand.

Also if you are only taking small doses you are able to take a few ibuprofen pills and a few paracetamol pills. That way you are not taking too much of the same thing.
 
Nurofen+ CWEs for me always turned out milky, I have tried many a different method and different things to filter it (all have worked), I heard it's the coating on the pill that turns it white.

Drinking water and eating for me gets rid of the nausea, if you do feel sick don't go in anyones car, for me being a passenger in a car or on a bus after codeine or DHC is just horrible...but then i've been prone to travel sickness since I was a kid....
 
i dont like nurofens personally, i'm on a script fot panadine fortes cos of back pain, so that makes it easier cos the 30's dont really need a cwe.

i was at a mates place a few weeks ago and ran out of 30's cos we hammered them, so i tried 2 nurofen plus caps, was horrid, spun me out, felt sick, just not pleasant at all.

also with the codine, just drink lots of water, lots of it. and you can eat 1 hour after you dose and it wont kill the effects but will help with any nausea.
