safe takinglowdose morphine sulfate after taking diazepam for 4 days (≈25 mg per day?

hey guys, i'm new here and iwas taking oxycodone 40mg per day for about 4 months now, then switched so morphine 100mg tabs. i stopped taking morphine 4 days ago and switched to diazepam in order to be able to sleep.
i cant take the pain anylonger so i decided to take morphine today. i thought about 20 mg. my question is: could it be lethal to do so because diazepam is such a long working benzo. i got tolerance for morphine, but i dont know wether 4 days of benzo use are enough to reduce the harm of the combination ( i wont take them together its just because of the still lasting effect of the last four days diazepam.

allthough thx for reading and im looking forward to any advice of you guys

just took 50 mg of tapentadol and i'm feeling slightly better, no respiratory decrease , muscle pain is a bit less strong now. i have one 50 mg pill left and i'm thinking of taking it in the next few hours. i will update later.

Diazepam isn't 'such a long working benzo' - it's ~4 to 6 hours.

Morphine for me works great as a sleep aid.......any time I take it at night, I'm sleeping 9 to 11 hours......I guess it doesn't work that way for everyone.

You will be fine taking morphine the next day.......

i took 100 mg of nucynta and later about 20 mg of morphine and you are right: it was absolutely fine. and i have to correct myself i didnt mean long working, i meant the half-life of diazepam.
