Safe morphine rectal administration dosage?

So I've been reading on the boards that the oral/nasal BA of morphine sulfate is around 10%, while rectal administartion is around 50%. I've taken morphine a few times orally and been disappointed, so I figured i'd try bumping if it's so much more effective. My question is, if my oral dose is 30mg, should I do a lower rectal dose since it's five times more effective? Say, would 10mg be enough? I don't want to put 30mg up my ass and then have it be like taking 150mg orally.

It could depend on a lot of factors so noone can tell you for certain what a safe dose is. Start low, then you can always redose later if you need.

Do you usually crush your pills before eating them? Taking off the coating on the pill then crushing them will also increase BA. The pills I've had experience with don't dissolve very easily in water but with a bit of heat you can get a pretty good suspension that you can suck into an oral syringe and then shoot up the booty.

depends on tolerance but if you dont use opiates daily or have been then i would suggest a good starting plug to be 15mg. I think the first times i plugged ms contin (no tolerance)i did 30mg and i was in heaven. good luck though

I plugged 60mg MS Contin crushed and snorted 10mg and barely feel anything.....shit....I use perhaps twice weekly a variety of opiates but I had no idea that this would happen with morphine.

I had 5mg IM and 5mg oral Oxy at the ER 6 months a go and felt higher than now.......I CANNOT believe how i have this monster tolerance to the MS without actually being a phsical addict....anybody have any idea why?????
