Stimulants Safe Heartrate on Amphetamine/Methylphenidate

My heart rate normally shoots up to 120-140 while on adderall or ritalin, what's considered a dangerous heart rate? I tried to look for this info, but can't seem to find an answer as to a number you should never let your pulse go above for a couple hours.

That's because it's dependent on your physiology. Your heart will self-limit before it damages itself from "beating too fast". A scrawny person might pump a lot less blood at a hear tarte of X bpm whereas someone with a much bigger, stronger heart would have a higher blood pressure with the same heart rare. You can't just pull a number out and say "that's the damgerous limit for everybody".

Your blood pressure is probably what you are thinking of - 90/60 is normal, 180/120 is hypertensive crisis etc.

Like written above everyone is different. Personally i take ephedrine from time to time and if my heart rate goes over 100 bpm per minute while "resting" i start to really feel it, mostly just bad anxiety (that i already battle with) so i take a little xanax (1 mg) and i feel ok and the ephedrine still works. I use ephedrine very rarely and i know it's not nearly as strong as ritalin etc. I would feel like death if my heart rate was 120-140 for hours. There's been a few times it has been that high from extremely strong weed, because body will raise (usually) your heart rate to combat the lowered blood pressure.
