IMO, conversion charts are complete nonsense with benzos. more so with halcion than any other benzo.
but i would wait to take .25 at once. that is a great first time dose. though i bet a lot you will be disappointed. not because halcion doesn't kick ass, but just because.
edit:
hold under your tongue. makes a big difference with halcion. especially at a slightly smaller dose like .25mg. kicks in faster than any other benzo i have done; makes xanax look like a slowpoke.

FYI, temazepam is the most rapidly absorbed and quickest acting benzodiazepine according to a British study, and several others which corroborated it. It's just that the capsules (especially in Restoril form) severely hamper their quick action. Restoril is the LEAST recreational form of temazepam there is in the world.
Ask the people in Europe about the gel-caps or the tablets and how fast they kick in.
