Opioids safe first oxy dose without tolerance? oxy usable/safe for meth comedown?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can say with good certainty how much Oxycodone should be safe for a first-time user who has (almost) never used opiates before and has no tolerance at all? And if it should be safe to mix with Methamphetamine?

I have small round white pills in original blister pack, pills stating OC on one side and 10 on the other. This is supposed to be 10mg Oxycontin pills.

I have consumed (small, no recreational) amounts of codeine and morphine in the past that seemed to go fine, so don't think Im allergic to those or anything.. Can it be that Im still allergic to Oxy, and should try like a tiny piece of a pill to check that?

Just 1 pill should be safe for prety much everyone right? If so, what about 2, still fairly safe, or risky? and a half, pretty useless?
Im considering just a half or 1 pill for my first time, to see how I react, unless that's a worthlessly small dose?

What should be best ROA, just eating it? If so then crush it first or not? Not sure, but I think the pills are extended-release ones..
should be better/stronger while still safe if I crush the pill before taking it orally?

In lack of benzos after a meth binge, think I can use such oxy pills as a lil replacement instead of benzo- to help calm down/sleep, or think it could be a bad idea to mix meth & oxy (and possibly cannabis) for some reason, or maybe it won't even be any good for relaxing/sleep at all? I don't really know much about this at all yet.. :/
Considering taking just like one 10mg Oxycontin pill like 6-12 hours after last hit of meth, staying up like 2-3 more hours to see if I notice any effect/buzz from the oxy and then goto bed and try sleep. Sounds good, or?

Ive been wanting to test the pills anyway, and now as I need help to relax after meth binge I thought it might be a good time to maybe both test the oxy and get help to relax as a result of it.

If Morphine is much better than Oxycodone I have like 70mg total of 10mg Morphine IR pills somewhere too, but would prefer just using the Oxycontin for this for now...

It would be really great if Oxy should be safe and could be used to help sleep..have no benzos atm.
I'll be doing it alone and in secrecy,so hoping to stay a bit extra on the safe side just in case.. was hoping someone would know these things well and could answer me within a few hours or so to reassure me, and I'll probably be trying an Oxy tonight, probably just 1 pill unless anyone have better ideas.. probably taken not very long after last hit of meth.

Hoping this should be pretty safe, and that it may also help me sleep.. if any doubt if its safe I guess I'll just stay away from the oxy and suffer thru more sleep deprivation then.. Im already pretty messed and was hoping to aviod further or much stuff now...

I've no experience with meth so have no idea if it would even be effective to hold back a meth comedown, but WRT taking 10mg of oxy, you'll be fine even if it's instant release, just titrate your dose up 1 pill at a time at least an hour apart to make sure you don't front load the dose and end up taking too many.

I'll probably try crushing and eating 1 of the 10mg oxy pills in some hours then.. Hopefully it'll be safe this way, and maybe even provide a little relieving sedative effect too then..

With no tolerance, 10mg (IR) would be a good dose to start off with. Some people need 20mg, but others can get a buzz off as little as a 5mg Percocet.

but to the OP. I think you should crush 2-3 pills into a very fine powder and swallow. you could just lick the powder up, mix in a drink, or put in tissue or gel cap and swallow. All going to the same place.

it should greatly help with the meth comedown. I personally find oxy to be hard to sleep on because it is one of the more "stimulating" opaites. I find morphine to be better for sleep. If you decide to take the morphine prepare it the same way you would the oxy but do 30-40mg instead.

hi, I just wanted to say that I was 1 of those people who could do fine with 5 milligrams. This was many many years ago when hydrocodone (5-10mg) was the extent of my experience with opiates/opioids.
I'm not saying that the advice you've gotten so far is dangerous by any means... just figured I'd share my experience. Lots of people seem to need much more than 5 milligrams to get anything out of oxycodone. I am definitely 1 of those now lol. If you are in doubt, you could always split 1 of the 10 milligram pills if that's possible. ( just to be clear, my experience with opiates in pill form has been entirely with immediate release medications...)

If you haven't used opiates much then you might get pretty nauseous, especially on an empty stomach. I'm assuming you haven't eaten in awhile because of the meth. Just a heads up as it's happened to me before and it wasn't pretty!

^Agree. I tried meth once and the comedown was so awful I never did it again. Anyway, I would totally recommend eating something before taking the oxy or at least taking it with milk. 10mg is a decent starting dose, not too much, not too little for a first time user. Good luck!!

everyone is different but i would recommend 20-30 mg of IR oxycodone for a first time use if you really want to see what it is all about. expect nausea unless you have a prescription or source for about 25 mg of promethazine, like i have. i am currently a moderate user of oxycodone and 30-40 mg twice a day is still sufficient. if those 10mg pills your are talking about are OP 10, i would recommend chopping the pills up with scissors pretty well, soaking them in a cola or mineral water with lemon juice for about 4 hours in a shot glass, and swallowing the gooey sludge you come up with. i usually get 80 mg OP's and half them in this manner when in a crunch, otherwise i just eat the chunks of a full 80 and let it ride. don't get too happy crappy with it if you can't afford it, though. i start getting withdrawals about 8 hours after my last dose and by about 16-24 hours of not dosing i will feel like utter bullshit. that's my two cents. be careful. opiate addiction will sneak up on you REALLY quick and in a rather sly fashion. have fun!

ps - as for the meth question...if you're going to fuck around with oxy instead, forget the meth. oxy is a rich man's high. meth is garbage and i honestly hate mixing uppers with downers. i am also prescribed klonopin, though, as i have panic and anxiety disorders so i am just not a fan of stimulants anymore. i may blow a line or two of snow for free now and then but that's about as far as you will see me take it.
