Safe drug taking on Tomorrowland

2C-B can cause some GI discomfort in some people, probably not an ideal situation at a festival. If you want to trip only trip one day.

3 days flat out on any drug is probably going to take its toll in some way or another.

You was there 2010, right? Christ that was hot then,

no 91 and 94, both were just relentless baking sun throughout, yopu might think thats good, but there was no escaping it as inside tents were boiling and there was no shade, i spose i could have tried harder to find shade, so just ended ducking myslef under the coild taps. It was a bit too much one year and i felt quite ill at one point, there were a lot of people going down with sunstroke. I took suncream in 94, after getting burned to fuck in 91, you live and learn ! Id pretty much stayed out of the sun until then, prefering to be 'pale and interesting' its only later in life that ive started sun worshipping.

Taking 2C-B for three days in a row is a waste of good 2C-B IMO. An exercise in diminishing returns.

It's fine to mix 2C-B and MDMA, and some people even like the combo. Personally, I think it's a waste. Again.

As for the 'no comedown from 2C-B' thing, that's not really true. Of course it has a comedown. It's not particularly savage or debilitating, but you'll certainly feel it in a festival environment, I'm sorry to say.

If you're looking for drugs to keep you awake, you're looking at the wrong drugs.

i think 91 was the last year it at least partly felt like a lawless traveller festival, those guys riuding round bearchested on motorbikes without helemets of course with dogs running after them, the Levellers were headlining IIRC. By 94 they had bult those massive metal walls so there were far less people sneaking in which had started to cause a huge overcrowding problem in previosu years. And there was a far heavier police presence. Police everywhere infact.

Are you referring to Glastonbury MDB? The last time I was there was in 1986 with The Cure headlining (amazing electrical storm during The Cure's set whilst tripped off me box on good acid), which was when they had major problems with the travellers gatecrashing the site due to Maggie's Stormtroopers trashing the Stonehenge free festival in 1985. However, even then it was turning into the horrendous middle class students' 'pop' festival that it is today. IMO, the best festivals were the free ones frequented by the travellers, hippies, punks and anarchists in the '70's/early '80's. Since then, festivals seem to have become far too mainstream with a huge police presence, crap acts, overinflated ticket prices, far too many young people etc. etc. (Disclaimer: I've not actually been to any multi-day festivals since then due to the prohibitive ticket prices, so I may be totally wrong...)

Gap the days out, MDMA one day, stims the next, mdma the day after. or vice versa

yeah Glastonbury FUBAR, i did once turn up and have a drive round a travellers site, seeing if i could possibly score some weed or hash anywhere, i didnt have the nerve to get out of my car and just start blatanatly asking, i didnt know any of them, though i had met one of them in a nearby town, and he told me where the siute was. I should have got his name, and then i could have said Pete sent me, or w/e, doh ! i was young and naive at the time.

But there was no signs of any festival, id have loved to have gone to a proper travelleres festival. One of my ex work colleagues was a traveller for ten years, was at that battle of the beanfield, where the police battered the travellers. His face was on the cover of a book about the whole scene. I wont name the book as it incriminates him, and makes me traceable, and i dont think he'd appreciate it. You might be him actually, that post you made in the goals 2014 thread sounds just like him, same age and all. Do you live in NW england area ?

Mushrooms at a festival can be very fun as long as your in the right frame of mind and have others on the same level as you. Not sure if it's the best time to be trying them for the first time, but that's not to say you won't enjoy them if you did. Maybe try taking them at the camp site or somewhere calmer and wait for them to kick in before you go venturing out. However, like someone else has said they might completely distract you from the music, especially as higher doses. Once I took them at a festival and made my way over to a stage to watch The Roots. Me and my friend were laughing all the way to the stage and when we got there the band on previously had a vocalist who looked and sounded like a sweaty pig. This made us collapse laughing even more and by the time The Roots came on we couldn't handle it. Tried watching them but it just sounded like chaos so ended up chuckling our way back to the camp site.

Haha, yes, I'm in cheshire mate, but I wasn't at the battle of the beanfield (thankfully) so I doubt it's me! I've never been a traveller either - although sympathetic to the cause, the lawlessness was a bit too much, even for me!

To the Op, try not to bash the stems too much the first day. Take things gradually and build up to a mind blowing crescendo for the last night.

I would do day1- coke n booze
day2 -2cb or shrooms
day3- mdma
Always save the mdma for the best day lineup wise.

No, you're totally right unfortunately, they're just corporate events these days...

Last time I went to Glasto was 2010, I spent alot of the weekend getting angry at the rest of the festival goers, bunch of fannys, lads queuing for an hour to take a shower, girly washbags under their arms. Putting gel in their fuckin hair for them to just put a generic festival straw hat on like the other 90%. Making me angry now just thinking about it.. Each to their owm I guess but I thought a festival was about getting messy and letting go completely for a few days. Fuck your hair do, bollocks to your smart phone updating FB every 10 mins.

Festivals arent what they was, by a long way, I love taking my kids to the family ones now, you tend to find a lot of the old skool festival revellers at them to. Much better...

Again to the OP, just go with the flow, dont try and plan to much because it'll all go out the window anyway.

@mdb - I thought I recalled you saying you was there '10, must of being someone else. 2o1o was a scorcher, previous festivals ive gone to have been a wash out on at least one of the days if not all

I think you're onto a loser with the whole "take em 3 days in a row" theory. Why not just save em for one day? That way you use fewer drugs and have a better time.

nope, definately never went there in 2010 nor ever claimed that i did. It wasnt that poncey in 91 and 94, i think those were the final death nails of the traveller spirit to the festival as the ticket price started to become ridicously expensive from then on, also gangs of thieves were in operation big time after that not just stealing the contents of any tents, but stealing entire tents. Especially people that were foolish enough to take expensive tents i guess.

nothing is safe 3 days in a row

I would recommend at least sleeping 1 hour in them 3 days

Naa jokes... you will probably pass out of exhaustion before then... to stop your self from passing out.. you will need to take more MDMA, which is even less safe

Scotchmist: thanks for confirming my suspicions.. As you say, I reckon the more family oriented events probably retain more of the 'festival spirit' than the likes if Glastonbury, Reading, V etc. which these days are more like the 'radio 1 roadshow' than a festival.

It's a festival conundrum, really.. agreed that 3 days in a row, nothing is particularly safe and most likely a waste.

I quite enjoy planning festival drug itineraries, though. =D

Hmm, 3-MeO-PCP with no tolerance three days in a row at a festival. I know I'd enjoy it, I'd remember a fair bit of it, other people wouldn't recognise my memories. The tinnitus, on the other hand, and the potential sound mangling might not work with the musical aspect of such a festival.

Hey I did 3 days in a row no sleep crystal meth, mixed with a touch of cocaine, and had a .... right old paranoid bunch of shit by the third night.

Its character building. Go for it.

Hey, I don't want to start a new thread.
I'm going to a music festival and while it's not my intention to take anything I'm aware that my friends might have a different plan. You know how easy it is to just 'go with the flow'. I have never taken anything other than weed but unfortunately I'm suffering from insomnia so I'm not a stranger to benzos.
What's the safest drug? (I'm aware that 'safe drug' might sound like an oxymoron)? I'm talking about really small doses and no re-dosing. Someting to enhance my mood but without me acting like a freak or feeling like dying.

Weed 'n' benzos sounds fine to me =D

Seriously though, it's impossible to say without knowing what kind of experience you're after. One thing's for sure, don't bother with any 'legal highs' as they will either exacerbate your insomnia, make you act like a freak, or make you feel like you're dying. Stick with wot ya know, bro :)
