safe benzo use?

hi dont wanna be a pain in the ass but just have this prob of taking 1months script in a couple of days, so i thought if i give my b/f the pills and only get them off him when i actually need them this would be safer then the 2/3 day binges that im used to.
however at the moment i feel a tollerence building n i dont want that.
my b/f is currently currently giving me between 10-20mgs of valium 3-4 times a week.
AND yes i know niether of the 2 options above are really clever(withdrawl yep been there YUK)
but gotto do something...
any sugestions/ideas muchly apreciated ;0

Please disregard Throwed Off's comments. Benzos are definately addictive, and while safer than barbiturates, you can certainly overdose on them. While you'd need to either take huge doses or mix them with other depressants to have a life threatening overdose, taking doses just a few times the prescription doses can lead to amnesiac states where you can do things you aren't aware of which could be dangerous.

You are WRONG.
Benzo's are more dangerous than many otc drugs. Benzo's are one of the only drugs that can cause death from the withdrawl. (Seizures)

Actually, alcohol and barbiturates have in fact caused death during withdrawal. Death due to benzodiazepene withdrawal is not very likely.(Does anyone know of an official case?) Seizures however could be possible depending on the level of addiction, not to mention rebound anxiety. I wouldn't call benzodiazepenes "safe" but their relative safety in comparison to older sedatives certainly have foiled more than a few suicide attempts.

If you do a Google search on "Benzos+death" you'll find that death from Benzo withdrawal is very rare -- but that it still occurs. I find it a little hard to believe that anyone using benzos daily doesn't go through the withdrawal syndroms...if that's the case, you're EXTREMELY lucky.
There's a great site -- www.benzo.org.uk -- that has more information on benzodiazepines than you'll ever want or need...When I was going through the initial part of the kick, I spent a lot of time there. Benzo withdrawal is the WORST -- I found it a lot harder than the withdrawal from opiates. And six weeks later I'm still feeling it - it'll probably be a long time before all of the symptoms subside.
