Safe amphetamine use (Dexedrine)

I've been scouring the internet for some safe amphetamine doses, and am having a difficult time as it seems alot of the information is for street or racemic amphetamine and the recommended doses are 40-50mg which seems like a lot for pharmaceutical grade amphetamine.

So anyways, I have access to 10mg dexedrine XR. I have no tolerance and I want to take them recreationally for a night out, with a little bit of alcohol and perhaps some phenibut, but these factors can be ignored for the most part.

I am planning on crushing up these pills, I'm wondering if 20mg IR dextroamphetamine is a safe and fun high? I don't really plan on redosing unless I find that it wears off very quick.

20mg IR dextroamphetamine may be recreational for some, but for me that's a therapeutic dose. I'll take 15-20mg at once for studying and such. I don't know how tolerant you are to amphetamines in general, but I'd say go for at least 25-30mg for a recreational dose. Dexamphetamine has potent CNS effects but not much peripheral stimulation, so even if you take a bit too much it won't be tweaky.
 
Amphetamine is actually quite benign if you stick to therapeutic doses. Just make sure you stay hydrated because it will increase your need for fluids.
Keep the alcohol to a minimum. The phenibut doesn't sound problematic but alcohol is dehydrating and very hard on the body.

Okay cool, I have no tolerance so I may go slightly above 20mg, I did do 20mg XR about a month ago and it gave me a mild buzz, I found eventually that it lasted so long that it became uncomfortable and I had some tight muscles and what not

I have some magnesium and antioxidants that I'll use so hopefully that wont be a problem.
What dose do you suggest for a beginner to amphetamine AA357?

I would recommend 30-40mg personally.
 
I find the combination of phenibut and dexamphetamine to be counterproductive. This is with therapeutical dosages though, so i can't speak for recreational use but chances are that the same holds true for high end dosing. It's like the best of both drugs never really shines through with this combination.
 
Yeah I think I will hold off on the phenibut until a few hours in to ease the comedown, as that seems to be the most recommended use.
I'm really surprised at these doses honestly :p I'm used to everyone telling me to do tiny doses on bluelight, I might go up to 25-30mg and see how it goes

Yeah, I was being serious, but that's my tolerance speaking. Anyway, to address the this threads title, most amphetamine use is already safe. Recently, methamphetamine was ranked #2 least dangerous illegal drug (ecstasy was ranked #3) behind marijuana, whose active ingredients aren't even an alkaloid or amine (they don't contain N).
 
Speaking broadly, amphetamines have a very large therapeutic index, i.e. you can take a shit ton. It's not like opioids, where the dosage used to get high is precariously close to the dosage that will stop respiration and cause subsequent death. However, this does not make high-dose amphetamine use "safe" or "okay", it's just for reference sake that I say this.

I believe the dosage mentioned by OP was in the range of 40-50mg? That's a perfectly normal dose to get a buzz with amphetamines. Going higher than that will increase your "tweakiness" (performing repetitive simple tasks, compulsively watching porn for hours, thinking people are looking through your apartments peephole, etc.)

Now, if you're really trying to use amphetamines to boost your productivity, your best bet is to follow the dosing directions on the prescription bottle to a T.
