Sabu Sabu - What is this shit ?!

So my girl works in a restaurant and the dishwashers are all from Indonesia, and they allways talk about smoking Sabu Sabu ( rough spelling ) And they said its and X like body buzz but I'm too sketched by these dudes to just smoke it and find out. I've never seen it, and nobody that I have asked has ever heard of it and I'm thinking its probably glass or dust or something like that but I'm not sure...
Anybody ?! What the hell is this stuff !??!
They swear that it isn't bad for you, and they are cool guys but it just sounds weird U know...
 
Im sure this in no way contributes to safe drug use, but what the hell. There is a black guy that lives across the hall from us that we call "Sabubu." We use it as a racially degrading term, referencing to a fictional african tribe.
 
Just to confirm, Yes "shabu" is meth.
It's used in Japan, Korea and most of S.E. Asia in various forms.
