Hello I guess it's been a while since I've written a trip report. I don't have much time now but I thought, well, S-Ketamine is a rare substance, and eating Ketamine is a rare way to take Ketamine. So eating S-Ketamine and having a mind blowingly rediculous trip must be a pretty rare experience! Maybe I should contribute to the old "pool of knowledge"... or something.
So, I had experimented insufflating this S-isomer Ketamine lately, and found it to be a great deal of fun. But it would cause my sinuses to get completely fucked for the next two weeks.
So I thought, I'll just eat the stuff. It takes a little more but I know from experience a few years ago with 500mg racemic Ketamine that eating it can be well worth it.
I know S-Ketamine was more potent and I wanted to test the waters with eating it, so I figured 200mg in a gel cap would be a "safe" dose.
So I ate this, and gave the same dose to my girl whose idea it was to do Ket in the first place
Then I smoked 2 hits of ganja because it makes Ketamine better, I mean, everyone knows this
10 minutes later I am starting to feel it.
My girl is playing around with my digital camera, looking at pictures we took in the past months. After about 5 minutes I tell her, "This is hitting me quick, are you feeling it yet?"
She wasn't feeling it yet.
Another 2 minutes pass. "I think I'm gonna be gone for a while, please be nice to me". I knew I would be vulnerable and I wasn't sure if the S-Ketamine was going to hit her as hard as it was hitting me, because she still wasn't feeling anything at all from it.
Sound Tribe Sector 9 was the music of choice. My girl was laying next to me in our bed, I believe her arm was touching mine.
Then I felt the gravity. Like my legs were being sucked forward. The room was quickly beginning to look like it was made of water. And shrinking. And turning. And all the angles were re-arranging. The buzzing of my body was getting intense, it felt like millions of chilly needles gently poking my skin. This all hit me so quickly I began to wonder how fucked I would inevitably get.
Then another song came on, the Sound Tribe album "Artifact" was playing all the way through. This would be the soundtrack to my voyage through mindspace.
With this new song I felt the gravity once again, I was sucked in a different direction and all the laws of physics were different than they were a minute ago. With my eyes open it looked like I was on top of some kind of throne, in fact I felt like I was high up looking down on everything in this room. This room which did not resemble its actual self. This room which was in constant flux in so many ways.
My body felt incredibly high. I was soaring for a minute.
But then the song changed, and so did everything. I was sucked backwards, and got a breif glimpse of what my body was going through. My breathing... seems shallow, now doesn't it? So I decided to start controlling my breathing, doing so slowly and deeply. I continued to do this for the rest of the trip. My heart rate seemed.... strange, fast maybe? But when I started to control my breathing it returned to what I perceived as within normal parameters. Good. Now I could relax again.
But not before I heard... "Are you okay?" It was my girl.
After maybe 30 seconds to process this query, I responded, "Yes, are you?"
"Yes."
Excellent. And with the next song I floated down. Normally one would think of "floating" / "down" as opposing concepts, but apparently this is not nescessarily so. As I floated down, my eyes may have been open or closed, since it was relatively dark in the room my eyelids had little affect on my perception --- I noticed a lattice work line-grid city was being built around me, made of extremely fine red lines. This hallucination took over my entire field of perception and I mesmerized by the detail and post-modern beauty.
A couple more songs sucked me into a couple different "rooms", and then my girl said something to me that I don't really remember, and I started to attempt communication again.
At first I was totally inebriated in my attempt at conversation, but over the course of 10 minutes or so, after the peak of subsequent mini-K-Holes had finished, I felt extremely lucid and my conversation wasn't inhibited at all.
But I had to take a piss like none other. Ketamine always does this to me. And there was a party with people I didn't know outside my room blocking my access to the bathroom. I knew I still looked like a zombie and my balance was a little funny, so I waited for about 20 minutes before robot-walking my way through and over people to get to the bathroom.
I then smoked a bowl and enjoyed lingering visual effects such as a jar of coins on my desk turning into an animated creature of some sort and lots of red grid-lines weaving their way through my wall hangings.
....
This was slightly less intense than my 500mg oral racemic Ketamine journey several years ago. However with the S-Ketamine it was much more fascinating and memorable, and at a much lower dose.
I have decided that the only way to fly with Ketamine, and especially S-Ketamine is to eat the stuff. (I know, I know, there are other ways, but these are simply not in my playbook)
.....
As it turns out, my girl never got as far out there as I did, although she seemed impressed with her experience anyway. I believe I metabolized the drug much more quickly than her, causing it to hit me like a train, and with a shorter but much more intense peak. Her trip was still plateaued by the time I felt mostly lucid.
peace
