Benzos ?S about flunitrazepam (Rohypnol, Euhypnos)

went to my psych doc jan 2nd. she said i needed another benzo for sleep. she gave me 90 1mg rohypnol. just got them filled they are made by roche. are they like other benzos....?
 
In a way, but one of the stronger less commonly used ones (plus it has this crazy stigma associated with it, ever heard of roofies?).

Be careful with em, at least as dangerous/addictive as any benzo you've been scripted before. (anecdotal, not one I was ever given)
 
damn... im on 2mg xannies now 90 a month. interzone i miss burroughs. im going to read some burroughs tonight. so, what kind of dosage? i take 4mg of xanax to relieve anxiety.

someone told me they are amnesia waiting to happen.

Like GHB, flunitrazepam's "date rape drug" stigma is probably a bit over-exaggerated. Having said that, Rybee is right. This stuff is very likely to cause serious amnesia.

Well, it seems that someone's got a great present from Santa...:). Opiateman, i guess you was a very good boy in 2013...;). You're very very lucky, roofies instead the fuckin xanax..I mean, i'm pretty sure, that even the best fan of xanax in the world, doesn't prefer them from rophynol, man..
But yeah, start slow and see how it goes, cause if you take a lot you'll have a blackout, and a state of amnesia, so be careful and start slow..and never mix them with alcohol..

This isn't an HR question. yes its like other benzos, just because it is heavily stigmatized doesn't mean it's that much different from other benzodiazepines, although IMO/IME it's one of the best benzos for therapeutic reasons.
 
my god guys. i took 2mg last night.... and i have never felt so relaxed in my life. Roche makes the best! these little fuckers will cause hypo tension, sedation, ataxia and many other things indicative of someone taking a CNS depressant. i wish i could share some of these things with bluelight. i know i shouldn't have done this but i mixed 10mg opana with this and it was heavenly.
 
^ are you sure it wasn't the oxymorphone that made you feel so good? 2mg never did that much for me, i hesitate to even call it euphoric. It's just a good tranquilizer IMO. And as for amnesia, It's a lot less amnesic than an equal dose of alprazolam in my experience... So yeah there's a lot of media hype and stigma with this benzo.
