Russo-Ukrainian War v. World War 3?

no you're just wrong and won't admit it and you keep going on like you're right - but you're not

so we went over nuclear fission and fusion but not into great depth about it - but i clearly remember to need to know the difference between the 2 from a test i took

and if you look there ^ you will see a video of 4th and 5th graders in San Diego (that's in the USA) learning about nuclear energy

so you're wrong

:)
Still passing around morphine dreams nudes? Probably not the guy killed himself from the crap you were involved with.

I have no idea what Putin's endgame is here. Getting your military bled out on your border doesn't seem like it's helpful for him...it's no skin off the USA's ass, hell some of the people in our government probably love the idea of getting to test out a bunch of weaponry against the Ruskies with the Ukrainians as our stand-ins, it's pretty much a win-win for those whackjobs

The Russian military has really lost esteem and respect through all of this, when the war started earlier this year I expected the Russians to just do a sustained drive to the capital city, which they'd occupy, take control of and then proceed from there...like in Budapest 1956 (the anniversary was today btw), Prague in 1968, Kabul in 1979 etc. But they failed to even accomplish that initial step and now they're just dicking around in some bloodsoaked dirt patch in eastern Ukraine, it's like did that make your fee fees better Putin? Does you wounded national pride hurt a little less now hmmm?

Putin was provoked. This is a classic repeat of human history. Alliance of enemy nations on your border forces a nation to pre-emptively invade them.

Zelenksy wants all of us to die for his country in a nuclear war. hes a fucking mad man lol

Ukraine preparing nuclear explosion as anti-Russian provocation

"Dirty bomb." This is the name of low-yield, but no less dangerous, nuclear weapons. The Kyiv regime's plans to use this weapon on the territory of Ukraine were reported Monday morning by RIA Novosti news agency, citing credible sources in various countries, including Ukraine. The ultimate aim is to blame the use of weapons of mass destruction on Russia, and thereby cause a strong international backlash.

The dirty nuclear bomb is nearly ready, and the Kyiv regime is ready to use it. Under the direction of Western supervisors, Kyiv is preparing to carry out this plan.

The leadership of the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant, located in the city of Zhovti Vody, Dnepropetrovsk region, as well as the Kyiv Institute for Nuclear Research, was tasked with building the "dirty bomb." Work on it is already at the final stage.

Staff at the office of the President of Ukraine, on behalf of Volodymyr Zelensky, are secretly in contact with representatives of the U.K., discussing the possible transfer of nuclear weapons components to the Kyiv authorities.

Recently, Zelensky has repeatedly called on NATO to make preventive nuclear strikes on Russia. No one is prepared to unleash a nuclear war because of an unstable Ukrainian president. However, there are signs that Ukraine is preparing its dirty bomb with outside help.

Late on Monday, Russia doubled down on its warning that Ukraine intends to use a "dirty bomb," and sent a letter to the United Nations saying that it would bring the issue to the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

"We will regard the use of the dirty bomb by the Kyiv regime as an act of nuclear terrorism," Russia's U.N. Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia told U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council in the letter.

what i find odd, is that they invaded another country and now they're complaining that they may use a dirty bomb on their own soil

it also sounds highly unnecessary since the Ukraine isn't really losing the war, so why would they need to even go that route?

if this doesn't reek of a false flag, i don't know what does....

hopefully nothing comes of it but who knows

They don't think of it as another country, to them it's more like "south Russia"

it's only you millennials freaking out about nukes

the rest of us are already used to it

:angryoldman:
True. Not to get all Joe Brainard on you, however...I remember growing up thinking the Soviets, Chinese, Iraq, or Iran would use the bomb, but I am from the end of Gen X. I remember the nuke drills in school. I remember how they thought ducking under your desk and shielding yourself with a notebook or textbook would help protect from radiation. I remember when most schools and some villages/towns and of course cities had fallout shelters. I remember Super wealthy or survivalist concerned people had a bunker or fallout shelter below their home or below/in the basement. I remember my father and both sets of grandparents and my uncle stockpiling non-perishable foods that were bought slowly on sale in bulk.

Did anyone else here watch THREADS, or THE DAY AFTER? THREADS was shown in class at school.

Wow, mate, that's what they call an impartial sratement:
No nazis in Ukraine. Never.
Those are communist (not russian) fake news, because you know, russians are all communist.

Communist and witches are things we love to fear, no matter if we can't prove them to be so.
So the Azov regiment is not national socialist neo-nazis?

I don't think Putin is dumb enough to use nukes. Once 1 is set of many will follow and I highly doubt anyone in power wants their country destroyed.

I'm starting to think Americans(gen x) were traumatized as kids with the cold war. They now have nuke ptsd.
I'm in between Russia and the USA and have never worried about nuclear war.
Most of Canada's population live at the border but the way we think on some issues is so different.
You might be correct? I learned about nuclear bombs and wars in school as referenced by my previous reply. The made for TV films which were in later years shown at school or when they were very new and being broadcasted, we had to watch at home and write about, are designed to be disturbing and there were no nuke rallies/demonstrations, and TV ads about nuclear war.

Three mile Island and Silkwood also freaked people out. The Silkwood non-fiction book was an excellent read.

So which one is correct? 😒🤔

we had fallout shelter signs hanging in all the schools - but nobody really knew what those signs meant

but yea we learned about nuclear energy because we were smarter than the following generations
What is your age? I am over 40 and I knew exactly what those signs were for. I used to go to after school club meetings in Jr HS in a fall out shelter, and my elementary school had the gym as a fallout shelter and my HS had one as well but these schools were built in the late 1940s-1950s.

I also learned about nuclear fusion/nuclear power/nuclear fission/radiation and X-RAYS in school. Before I was in school, my parents told me about it, and I read magazine and newspaper articles, but this was just after 3 mile Island was very recent, and later Chernobyl in USSR.
