Hey everybody!! My physician has me on 5 30 mg Roxicodone daily. I had shoulder surgery and broke my leg within 3 weeks, so I ran out (my bad). I have one pill left and I see him on Monday. It's Saturday. When do I take the pill? I'm having RLS already. Have valium 10 mg. Should I take some of those?? Help - I'm a little green!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't have any idea how to input ADD or BDD. Can someone give me a few pointers?

Split the 30 in half or quarters & take just as much as you need to alleviate the withdrawl symptoms. Taking the pieces with some Valium will help stretch your roxis also. Your best bet is to tell your doctor on mon that you are begining to have withdrawl symptoms & he/she should start you on a taper to lower your daily dosage to a point where you can jump off more comfortably. Your technically starting the taper now if you follow my advice. But trust me, you want to nip this in the but now, your already getting dope sick & it just gets worse as time goes on.

If it usually takes 150mg's of oxycodone to keep you well, then even 30mg's isn't going to do much.. It will probably alleviate your withdrawal symptoms for a little while, but not long.

However, you only have to make it a couple days until you see your doctor again. The valium you have is going to be a life saver.

Take your last pill, or split it if only 15mg's will get you well, and then take the valium until you get your new script. Diazepam is a really good benzo for opiate withdrawal. It is given in many inpatient detox clinics to treat dependency.

Hey Rob27shred -

I have had 6 knee surgeries, just had arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder, and as I said, I broke my leg. I can't stand all the pain right now. I'm hurtin from my shoulders to my feet - literally. But, good idea. I can't stay on them forever - or can I? I have to go to a pain management clinic to get my scripts. Do you know how long those pmc's keep people on pain meds?

Thanx for taking the time to holler back at me -
