Opioids Roxicodone or Oxycontin: What would you prefer?

After going back and reading the last 3 pages i have to say that this thread should be closed.
Another thread full of useless stupid shit.

Both pills are the same drug.

Snorting is a poor way to use these pills.

If your crazy enough to say(and agree with) 90mg of oxycodone fucks you up more than 120mg of oxycodone then let it be said something isnt right. I dont mean with the drugs.

Stop arguing over fucking BRAND NAMES and start learning how to use your shit. I dont mean the drugs.

hahah i also comply. An 80 would last me as long as it takes to sniff up my nose. ahhhh i miss them, but i dont. And as for the OP, Roxys definately hit me harder. However they ware off very quick for me, so i would just do roxy and oxy at the same time. Best of both worlds <3
 
The people who hate on here just hate themselves. Why would anyone who wasn't abusing their pain meds be on here. That's what their doctor is for. duh!
I've done both and didn't notice any difference in euphoria. the roxi's are easier to crush because you don't have to take a coating off but if your getting 15mg roxi's you'll probable have more powder to snort than if you got the OC 40's. I've never done 15mg roxi's though so its just a guess.
Someone else said this but I totally agree and its been helpful in my own experience. You doctor might give you a choice between dosages and how often you want to take them especially since it looks like your deciding between instant release roxi's and extended release oxy's. i'm good at mental math so its easy for me to figure out how many MG's in total i'd be getting with each plan but i'd go for total oxy and not a specific preparation. if it was a choice between perks and roxi's i'd go roxi's all the way even if i got jipped on MG's but you choosing between two equally good options.
if you get oxy's go to auto zone and get this two-three dollar part called a hose clamp. a lot of the time they're on the sales floor and u don't even have to ask someone to get them for u. its looks like a big metal zip tie. you can use them to grate the oxy's and get a nice fine powder that in my opinion makes the high better and is easier on your nose.
 
I agree. Seriously...people hating on users for using their meds recreationally...GET A LIFE. Why the fuck are you on here??? Don't kid your self...you know if a doctor put a script for 240 roxi's/month in your hand you would get a huge fuckin boner.

Slightly off-topic but since this was an issue earlier in this thread and in my opinion is an important psycho-social issue ~ regarding abuse of prescription medications:

I don't abuse my prescription medication. I don't have to; my doc gives me as much as I need!

Do you insulflate the roxi's? I love to insulflate meds. Especially oxy. Do roxi's grind well? And as for the pipe tightener, the brand new ones have been smoothed off the inside of the metal strip so they won't grind anymore.

I prefer roxi, but at the moment I can get name brand OC's cheaper then roxi..so OC it is I guess.
 
I felt so good yesterday not on anything. Just having fun. So the oxy didn't make me that happy just killed my pain. So in the last 12 I stayed up most of the night after a taking 15mg's, trying to sleep, then had to do the other 15.

Woke up this morning took 30, dusted 30. Took 2mg's of klonopin about 2 hours ago, which is built up in my system for once. Took half a promethazine( I can never get nautious from opiates after taking suboxone but whatever it helps) Then Just ate 13mg's. God this is amazing with no tolerance, pretty nice past 12 hours i've had.... And holy shit i'm so itchy. I'm going to take a shower and hang out with my friends in a little bit. The shower is so relaxing...Finaly i'm relaxed, and lost the slight opiate rage I had earlier. GOD I CANT BELIEVE THIS WOW, it can still blow me away. I can talk about this all day so i'm going to fade out. Later guys!

Going to take a break that 13mg's is kicking in as I type this. Blissfull apathy....I'm fading. :) I better enjoy this becuase I cleaned that out, for now going to take a break.

Roxys typically work much better for me. There are many pluses to them as well. One, if you intend on snorting them, they are far easier to work with. No coating to take off, less powder since they are smaller and are IR. They hit you harder, faster, but the downside to this is they don't last quite as long as OxyContin does, and I'm talking about when the ER coating is taken off . I'm a steady user of both, plus a little heroin here and there for a while now.

The OxyContin high never seems as intense as the Roxi high. It gradually overcomes you where as Roxi is instantaneous.

I can usually stay high on OC(Coating taken off) for like 2.5 hours, where as the Roxi high fades away in like 1.5 hours or so, actually closer to an hour.

if I had a choice, I'd get both, lol. Well, OxyContin for steady pain relief, and the Roxicodone for breakthrough pain. Do you want to be high longer? Or do you want to be higher, but for a shorter period of time? That's what you have to ask yourself. I honestly think you'll be JUST fine with Roxicodone 30mg. If you are concerned with it being a lot, remember you can break the pill in half for a 15mg dose. Actually quite easy to do since they are generally scored through the middle.

The best Roxi high I got was withdrawling from suboxone, 5 days in, I was sweating and smelled like shit. As soon as I got home I ran up stairs and tryed to wash the coating off, then realized there wasn't one.

I crushed it in about 30 seconds, snorted it, then about 1 minute later I had the strongest come up/rush that lasted for about 30 minutes followed by a mind boggling high. Then I was actually able to go to bed. Man I dont think there's anything better then taking one of these after withdrawling from suboxone. So that's how I got turned onto them. The best Oc's are the sixties, they have like no filler at all. So for me it's roxi 30's and the oc 60's. I got ten 15mg's OC's and they were the worst, like crushing metal and way to much filler. So those I only got because I was desperate, but the twenties are a big difference and they only have 5 more mg's. 15's are the worst. Anyone ever try a Oc 160?

You see? This is the problem with CLOSED MINDED HUMAN BEINGS (and I'm not picking on Mr. Blonde in particular - he just happened to be in the post that made me want to reply). They listen to the television, their parents, their doctors ... and when the "adults" tell them that pain medication is NOT for ANYTHING ELSE other than pain, they stand there - wide eyed and mouth agape - while hanging on every word. Then these people go out into the big - bad - Internet and see sooo much evil and wickedness ... why ... it's their civic duty to correct you and tell you that you're doing this all wrong and for all the wrong reasons! Just tell lil Opie that - it'll be O-Tay! Momma and Poppa will be home soon to wipe his butt and cook him up some supper!

The bottom line here is that these medications simply have more than one application, and people just need to get over themselves and accept it. I don't give a flying fuck what ANYONE says. Not the drug companies, not the FDA, not the health "CZAR", not my momma, not your momma, and certainly not some snot nosed, candy assed, whiney little bitch on a web forum! After all, why would I give a flying fuck about their narrow minded opinion or "statements of facts"? Why is it that they deserve NONE of our attention and every bit of belittlement that we can muster? Because I KNOW FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE that opioid based medications work VERY well for people suffering from psychological problems. And for some of us, they are the ONLY thing that will help when we need it. Psych meds don't do SHIT ... other than convert you into a vegetable, or make you put a gun to your head! They are completely useless!

When I was in my early 20's, I had a doctor who realized this completely! I went to him for Vicoden because I had knee pain (That knee has had MANY surgeries), but eventually, I told him that I didn't have pain anymore and that I simply had no intention of stopping the Vicoden. What do you think he told me, "Hey ... THATS OK - MANY people find these types of medications to be very soothing for them, and when you're ready to stop, just let me know!" He has since retired but man oh man do I wish he were still practicing. I sure could use him right about now.

Anyway Watashi ... don't even dignify these children with a response. They'll get called in when the sun goes does so they can say their prayers and go night night soon enough. In the mean time, the big boys will continue to hang at the playground and do what we do ... talk shit, say it like it is and help each other out!

So you're telling me that if I crush up and shoot a 30mg Roxi or a 30mg Oxy, I will not be able to tell the difference between the two?
 
personally i prefer roxis they are immediate release where as oxys are extended release. It makes no sense to fuck with an ER and have to chew that nasty stuff or crush it when you can just take an IR and not have to fuck with it. And why even bother with 15mg roxis? you can break a 30 in half if its too much for you.
