Opioids Roxicodone or Oxycontin: What would you prefer?

Hi, I have a good chance of changing my pain meds to either Roxicodone (probably 15 mg but maybe 30 mg) or oxycontin (probably a max of 40 mg). I will use them for euphoria and not just for pain. I know the differences between the medicines - that the roxi's are instant release and the OC's are ER. My question is - what would you prefer to have for euphoric purposes? I heard OC's are better for insufflation than roxi's, but I don't see how this is true. Also, I would like to take them orally more than nasally and I know the roxi's are better for that, but I suppose I could also chew up the OC's. I also am worried that the euphoria in the roxi's would somehow be limited, as 30 mg of instant release oxycodone seems like a lot for a common person to handle. Anyway - the bottom line is - would you rather have 15 or 30 mg roxi's (most likely 15 mg) or 20 - 40 mg. Oxycontin (for euphoria, not pain)? Please explain.

Because they are taking them for pain relief. 8)

Be warned there are going to be people here who aren't sympathetic to those who abuse pain medication prescriptions.
 
Roxys for sure. They honestly have a better high to me. I know its the same chemical, it just seems different! ha
 
Mr. Blonde - I do have pain (thus the medications), but my psychological pain is worse right now and I am just wondering which would be better for euphoric purposes. I thought this is a place where one can seek discussion and advice.
 
When your fucking over your doctor to get your high , no your not .. but im not getting into this shit all over again . dont tune your pain medication just to get fucked up on it .
 
I really don't need this shit on top of everything else in my life - I thought people were nice on this site. I don't understand this site - there are millions of threads about getting high and not just harm reduction, but I ask people's preference on a drug and shit goes crazy. I just wanted to fucking discuss what people preferred regarding the two medications. I have literally seen hundreds of threads about illicit and licit drug use, including people glorifying them, asking for the best routes of administration, how to get the most of their high, etc. What the fuck did I do wrong or different? And whoever the fuck said I'm not in pain - fuck off (and learn how to spell) - just because my life has been shitty and I would primarily like to get a little buzz off my meds doesn't mean I have no pain.

People like the Roxicodone 15's and 30's because they have no coating and they can crush up a whole pill rather than shave off a little at a time.

I have only tired OC 80's and never for pain, so I like those. But i like how one pill can last me 3-5 weeks. thats kinda cool how such a big thing comes in such a small package...

How the hell did you make an 80 last 3-5 weeks???????8o
I do some in the morning and some in the evening but I can't make one 80 last more than 48 hours at the MOST.
TO THE OP: I love Roxies. I would get the script for Roxies and enjoy every fucking minute of it. You've been through enough already and you will enjoy the sweet high notes of the roxie over the oxy.
 
Who gives a fuck what you do with your medication? If it gets you high and you like it, good and fuck anyone who tells you different.
 
Thanks for the last few posts - it's good to know that not everyone on this thread is a douche bag. Anyway, I kind of thought people were going to say they liked roxi's better. Is the high really different - is it stronger or different that OC's? BTW - I have no idea either how that guy could make an 80 OC last weeks - I can't make it last more than 48 hours at best either.
 
Seriously, Wat. Once I start to powder the oyster, I just keep fingering it and going through it, til I'm rubbing a tiny sliver of white across the pipe tightener with my thumb. I couldnt make one last like that. I don't get addicted to them because I can't afford them very often, but when I get one, it's a party. I really prefer Roxies though. Once my dealer had those instead of oysters and at first I was disappointed. It turned out that the high was sweeter and more euphoric and the street price is cheaper. I have requested them often since then, that is how seriously I prefered the Roxies.

^^WTF? I prefer Roxicodone to OxyContin. To me, it just hits faster and lasts longer than Oxy. Oxy seems to only get me high for an hour and a half max. I'm not sure why that is, or if that sentence has real truth to it. I just seems like the Oxy IR (Roxicodone made by Roxane pharms) are meant to be released quickly, thus giving the faster, more intense high. But it's truly as toss up. Since OxyContin now has a 15, 30 and 60mg dosage, maybe someone can do some real investigating on whether Roxi has Oxy beat on this or is it just a placebo effec.
 
whatever gets the most oxycodone per script, especially if its to get high. figure that out and there's your answer.
 
The way it seems to go is people prefer roxis, become serious users, then prefer OC, then lose any preference and take whatever will keep them from being sick, since a single script never lasts more than a few days anymore.

Not criticizing... just my personal pattern which is identical to about 12 other people I know that doctor shop.

But really oxycodone = oxycodone. As long as you do the same number of mgs, and crush OCs, the difference is all in your head.
 
1 80 is a dissapointment to me.......i'll do it...but i do one an a half shot...then a half shot....as soon as a grab em


even when i first started em....n i never took any type of opiates before i sniffed a oc40...it was half friday.....half saturday
 
Oh, I have a low tolerance, cause i like to be able to just do a little like on weekends or maybe skip a few times.
