Good morning all (whatever time it is in your part of the world) It's 08:14am here in the sunny U.K

How was everbody's night/day?

i done my last 3 x 80mg oxy (oc's) last night and the last of my Diazepam.

Feeling quite good :) I hope you all are aswell ;) I was just wondering if anybody could help with my following questions...

What is the strength comparison if any? Between 30mg roxicodone and oxycontin (OC) i usually get 80 mg tabs.

Also what is the comparative strength difference between 100mcg Fentanyl patches and oxycontin?

there the only 2 i couldnt find to compare on the opiate conversion chart.

Any help appreciated as always, thanks :)

Roxicodone and OxyContin are just brand names for oxycodone. Roxi are instant release and OxyContin are extended release. If you take them both orally, they'll feel pretty similar strength-wise except the OC will last about 12 hours instead of about 4 that IR formulas do.

100ug/hour fentanyl patch is pretty close to taking 100mg of OxyContin q12 hours or 67mg q8 hours. Here is a handy fentanyl patch converter and here is a handy converter for other opioids.

Thanks.

So 30mg roxi will be the same as 30mg oxy>? and 100 micrograms or is it measured in milligrams?

And the Fentanyl will be roughly equivilant to taking 100mg oxy.

Btw i still get (OC) oxycontin 80s and crush them up to a fiine powder and then swallow so im guessing the OC oxy i take now is pretty much IR (instant release) as opposed to the ones im using out of blisters say that say 'prolonged release' which i assume is extended release? '

^ yeah, prolonged release, extended (ER/XR), controlled (CR) and suspended (SR) are essentially the same and mean that part of the dose is released immediately and the rest released gradually over time. If you crush the old formula OxyContin (or oxycodone ER if they are generic) they effectively become instant release/IR. Roxi or any other IR formula will be the same mg:mg as completely crushed (Non-OP) OxyContin.

100ug/hour fentanyl patches = the equivalent of 200mg oxycodone per day total so if you take 100mg of OxyContin every 12 hours, it will have about the same effect as wearing the 100ug/hour fentanyl patch.

Roxicodone are instant release Oxycodone, where OxyContin is Time release.... the new Oxycontins suck now... Roxis are cool but they come in smaller doses. One 80 might get ya off where it will take 3 roxi 30's basically.... Personally I prefer roxi.... But my DOC is Opana.

But to answer your question the difference is one is time release the other isnt, and Oxycodone is Oxycodone.
