roxanol concentrate

so i stumbled upon a bottle of morphine sulfate immediate release (20mg/mL of 20mg/5mL im not sure right now but i will make sure before i take it!!!)in the corner of my refrigerator. dont ask how it got there im not sure. i think it was my grandmas before she passed. anyways... how do i take this stuff. if i take morphine sulfate er i crush 5 to 6 and eat and then snort one for good measure... the question is do i swallow this bittery stuff or simply use it sublingual? help please. i wont be hurting til morning so hopefully i get some replies b4 i drink it all :)
 
CAUTION: Roxanol™ (Morphine Sulfate 20 mg/mL) is a HIGHLY CONCENTRATED solution of Morphine Sulfate for Oral Administration.Error in dosage or confusion between milligrams (mg) of morphine and milliliters (mL) of solution may cause significant over-dosage. Dosing instructions should be clearly pre-scribed in milligrams (mg) of morphine and milliliters (mL) of solution. VERIFY CORRECT DOSE AND VOLUME BEFORE ADMINISTRATION TO PATIENT.
Usual Adult Oral Dose

10 to 30 mg every 4 hours or as directed by physician. Dosage is a patient dependent variable, therefore increased dosage may be required to achieve adequate analgesia.

^Don't be a dick when someone is warning you about OD potential. That shit is very concentrated which makes OD easy.

Just swallow it. Using it sublingual would just make the taste persist in your mouth even longer and probably wouldnt have any advantage. You could also plug it if your up for that, it would make the high a lot more intense but so you wouldnt need to use as much. But anyway, just drink it down at the dose you think you're used to.

Wouldnt have been had you taken 10-15ml thinkin it was 40-60mg.
But it was really 200-300mg. ecspecially Opie niave
 
thats why i have a mL syrnige. twat... naive? where....if i recall my post was regarding sublingual or oral admin... 'done has your brain fried.

What an asshole, if you are so smart, why do you even need to ask for advice? You dont even give your usual morphine dose in milligrams and you call people who try to help you stupid? Without giving us your usual dose how can anyone help?
 
Are you sure you didn't find that bottle stuffed up your ass? People are giving you sound advice in the name of harm reduction, so you don't fucking OD or something. How are we supposed to give you dosage advice when you don't even state your tolerance, or usual morphine dosage?

To answer your question - If it is an ORAL Solution, what fucking ROA do you think you should use? Hmm.. maybe ORAL ? Dick..

My experiance with roxanol is that it takes a lot orally to get you high. It was a bad idea but I poured some into a glass 170mg for a rough estimation of how much. At the time I was somewhat opiate tolerant. But I took small sips and let it settle under my tounge for a while than swollow. When the morphine kicked in it was one of the best opiate highs I have ever experianced. I took the roxanol at around 8pm and the high lasted till 1pm the next day. The peak high lasted from around 830 to around 4 in the morning. However, it was not wise for me at all to take that much at all. I had taken it in the past up to 80mg and it did nothing for me. However, I did this a few days in a row and by taking this much only for like 3 days it boosted my tolerance to opiates significantlly. Something that I do not want to do.
 
I know this is an older post... but for the record! As a care giver, I have had lots of experience with Roxanol.... for pain management .5-1ml sublingually. To get high I would assume that 2-2.5ml would be sufficient. Roxanol should not be swallowed, as it is meant to go through mucus membranes sublingually it does not survive well in stomach acid, and it will dillute the potency. When taken by the correct ROA it is a very potent medication, and potential of overdose is high. Anyone using this medication recreationally shold be very careful.
