Dogwood (Cornus). Not sure we have many of those over ehre. They looked surprisingly like orchid flowers at a casual glance.

Are you looking at jekyl's by mistake? Or am I totally missing something here?

Yeah, the light and dark. I like the contrasting chromatic effect in the pic, and all the shades of white/grey that are actually full of diffused colour.
