That's stunning. What caused the light exposure?

thanks. on the left is caused by shooting one wind after loading the film, so that part of the frame is the beginning of the roll that was exposed. the light leak on the right is me rushing to get a moving splotch of sun on her face -- not quick enough -- and not having the back of the camera clicked all the way closed.

those argentine peaks look imposing, al, is that a glacier on the right?

yep, that is mt. fitzroy, taken from the start of the hike out there from el chalten. i don't recall the name of that glacier as it's barely visible most of the way.

we saved up our glacier credits for a half-day hike on top of the perito moreno glacier in los glaciares national park. here's a view from the air (not mine):

there are breathtaking things to see everywhere you turn in that part of the world
