Rolling once a week for 1 month...how bad is it?

Hi guys, i'm new here so please bear with me if there's already a similar post.
As the title suggests, I kinda want to roll once a week for the whole month of December since there's an event every weekend here in LA.

Dec 4th
Dec 10th
Dec 18th
Dec 25th
and then...New years Eve

I'm not going to roll anymore after December for another 3 months most likely. I know this is going to reduce my roll experience most likely. But..what is the worst that can happen and what do you suggest I do to keep the damage to the minimum?

I only have molly's and according to my friend each is about 120mg to 140mg of MDMA each. I usually enjoy taking 2 at the most at raves/clubs.

Please save the "you're fucking dumb comment for doing that comment". I eat/sleep healthy and exercise 1 hour of cardio/running almost every day. Rolled twice in the last 2 months and each time I recovered without any problem...but who knows what's actually happening deep inside my head.

Thanks in advance.

Not too bad IMO considering you're planning on taking a nice break afterwards... From exp., take all of your harm reduction supplements, and 5htp, etc and you should be OK.

Its bad.
Don't do it.
Not as bad as rolling a couple days in a row. But it's still bad.

I did it and well I was fine but I felt myself growing fairly (mentally) addicted to it; I highly suggest not doing it - for your own safety.

I suggest not doing it. Maybe every other week if you MUST be doing it that often. Not only could you kill your rolls and your future rolling exp. (have you ever heard of "killing the magic"?) you could also cause stress to your axons that might not easily be repaired without a lengthy break (two or three months is not a lengthy break).

But hey. It's your brain. If you simply CAN'T resist, then by all means.

It's not that I can't resist, just that the music and overall experience at clubs/raves is so much better when you're rolling.

I'm not addicted to the drug in any way...but I love the music and I want the enhancement. Sure I can try to go sober and be healthy but I just dont know if that would be as enjoyable.

Thanks for all the feedbacks so far guys!

NYE will quite likely suck

Do you want to risk that? =( I've been there before- I used to roll every 2 weeks, and it took about 6 months to catch up with me. Depending where you are on that (how long have you been rolling, and how often?) will give you different results. I'd venture to say that though the recommendation is to wait a minimum of 30 days that you could reasonably get away with rolling 2x in the month. That's my recommendation based on personal experiences.

The problem with that final roll (or the third one even) if you're rolling every week, is that you are likely to have a crappy rolling experience (I know "rolling" and "crappy" may seem impossible but trust me!), followed by a really realllly bad 2-4 weeks.

Do you enjoy drinking, smoking weed, or any other drugs that enhance the rave experience? Maybe give that a try, and pick the two most important nights this next month and roll on those.

Thanks Bsiren. Actually first time i've done it was EDC this year. Then I did it twice in October with 2 weeks in between and once middle of November. I've noticed I've been doing it a lot more due to the events...and I think should definitely put to a stop after end of this year.

I dont drink or smoke cig or weed or do any other drugs. I suppose the best way IS to pick the most important 2 like you said.

Yes, picking two would be a responsible choice. You CAN have fun AND be healthy.

take some Alpha Lipoic Acid and youll be fine

300-500mg a few hours befor dropping. another 300-500mg during and again befor sleep. 200-400mg the next day when u get up and go sleep

Rolled 7 weeks straight (one day a every weekend) with no tolerance build whatsoever using extensive preloading/postloading, 5htp everyday. Most ever consumed was two low strength MDA and one molly cap.

Also was mixing in MDA so not sure if that was a contributing factor, supposedly no cross tolerance. Each roll was just as magical as the last.

No depression,
No memory loss,
No hangovers,
Never felt "whacked out",
and I still get straight A's on exams w/o ever studying.

 for pre/postloading.

4 more weeks to go until a REALLLLLY long break. :)

I think the "loss of magic" is people just getting used to the feeling, it still FEELS the same you're just not WOW'D by it like you were the first time. That, and vibes/places definitely play a huge role.

5 weeks in a row is really pushing it, and you definitely don't want to end up not getting a good experience on NYE.

Skip the E on at least one, preferably two or three, of those dates - either go sober, or go on something non-ecstasy-like. Definitely skip the 25th (assuming NYE is the most "important" of them - if the one you care most about is a different one, skip the one before that). Who the hell goes to a club on x-mas day anyway? It's destined to be a less exciting event, cause most people will be with family, not out clubbing....

If you decide to abuse it, it will abuse you back....... I know we all wish we can take mdma frequently without any consequences but this only happens in a perfect world. just use good judgement and do it when you think its a special time. :)

Guys, I can't thank you enough for all the mature responses. I will definitely take anon and happyland's suggestion on taking those substances to help.

Haha i know about the Xmas day thing...actually i am now definitely planning on going to that one sober. I've enjoyed seeing infected mushroom twice before and danced my ass off the whole night while sober so I think I'll be OK.

I might also consider staying sober now for NYE....

NYE is gonna be a wreck for you.

Consider this month of rollin as your exit stratagy from the magic you know of, cause after this it aint never comin back.

plus your works gonna be dark and scary for months after...2011 is already lookin bad 4 u...prepare to start a minset of your new year with some hopeless despair

sorry if thats not what you want to hear, but ecstasy aint never gonna be the same after this. your at your grand finale for at least 2 years....even then it probably still wont be magical again.:|..just dull like a grey crayon..you could have had all the colors in the crayola rainbow box, but you went for the cheap thrill and now yer pictures lookin boring.

Best bet:

Grab a Six pack of Bud light, a dank bag of herb, put on some NASCAR and kick back the race

PEACE

You should be totally fine if you're takin good shit and you haven't done this too much in the past, but you'll only be able to get away with this so many times so embrace the experiences and realize that you may be put off rolling frequently like that for the rest of your life possibly. I did this for 4 months and would NEVER consider repeating it even though it was incredible and I've suffered no long term problems or had downs at all or lost the magic or anything like that. Carefree rolling like this does not last, if you try to make it a regular thing, then you will not last.

Weren't you the one who made this thread? Oh yeah :\
Loss of magic DEFINITELY isn't getting used to the feeling. I'm quite familiar/'used' to the feeling of MDMA, but I roll my brain against the sky every time I take MDMA because I keep it less than once every 3 months.

I think what really happens is people get used to the lower and lower quality of the roll each time they abuse it further and forget how empathetic and full of love it makes you when youre not abusing it. Perhaps super low levels of oxytocin are to blame...which is perhaps why when I overdid it with X I didn't feel cuddly after sex for a good while.

Anyway, OP, check out this thread. Everything you need to know 'bout protecting yo brain.

Don't take 5HTP the day of your roll. The day after maybe, but taking it the day of can A) Kill it and B) Mess you up in a bad way.

=) Sounds like you've been responsible thus far, and can accept that rolling every weekend may be a bad idea...

MDMA was my first drug, I can relate to you not having a lot of other substances to enjoy yourself with. I've never enjoyed weed, so for me it's never an option for partying either...

The thing to keep in mind is that right now, rolling is amazing for you. If you look through threads on bluelight, a large portion of them are dedicated to "I lost the magic!" and health problems, or MDMA just overall affecting them differently after over use of it. I am in this boat- though I've taken several long breaks MDMA simply never affects me as fabulously as it did the first 15 or so times I rolled. It likely never will, and I've grown to accept that- but I don't want to see anyone in that same boat. I'm of the opinion/philosophy that once you damage certain receptors, that MDMA magic won't come back no matter how long you wait. That is simply a theory based on knowing MDMA users for 15 years, and watching how it works. I have no scientific data to back that up.

So yeah, sorry for the rant! =) I really think you're best off picking 2 of those events to roll at, and just enjoy the music and people at the other, and remember how amazing MDMA was and will be when you do roll.
