Rolling on Suboxone and benzo

I'm going to post my question first and then my background in hopes of getting more responses. Thanks in advance!

Question:

If I am on Suboxone and have been for a month (for Opiod Replacement Therapy, not for recreation) and want to roll - how dangerous do you think this is? Although I don't usually have anxiety rolling, I will have benzo's on hand in case I get nervous or for the comedown. I understand that it is not optimal to tell your body to speed up and slow down at the same time, but I don't want to be withdrawing (where I my heart speeds up, causing anxiety) and rolling.

I would really appreciate any anecdotal information I can get, whether you have experienced a similar situation, or know a friend who has. If you can provide neither of the two, I would appreciate knowing how dangerous you think it is (both for rolling on Sub, and rolling on Sub and benzo).

Lastly, I would only be taking one roll, and do not have a testing kit; although, I use pillreports and Edata, but I know that is not nearly as good as a kit.

Short Background:

I have taken roughly 75 predominantly in 2007, but maybe two in 2008. So I consider myself relatively experienced. I have taken pretty much everything (besides K and oxymorphone) under the sun - and taken them to excess - but I have been pretty averse to stimulants since being addicted to opiates. I do not enjoy strong cannabis know either as it gives me intense paranoia and rapid heartbeat. I can take a quick heartbeat if I am rolling nicely, but with paranoia it just freaks me out.

Thank you for your help!

should be fine ... although suboxone will make the roll stronger and harder on your brain...

don't take the benzo till you're coming down

just take half the amount of suboxone (like in your overall system) before the roll

Why would the bupe make the roll stronger and harder on the brain? 8) Bupe is a (semi?) synth opiod with a high affinity to the mu and the k opiod receptors and is a very strong agonist. In simpler words, mdma and bupe DO NOT interact at any of the receptors nor do they synergize well (imo/ime). The only caution I would give out if mixing bupe + benzos as this would increase risk of respiratory depression.

And @OP:
If you've been on bupe for awhile (I think you said a month??) you should be fine. Especially if you aren't getting high off of it, which you shouldn't be anymore. I'm almost 100% certain there are no fatal contraindictions/interactions between bupe and mdma. Just make sure your gear is good.

I would save the benzos for after the experience as it may mute/dull your high and strongly recommend it this. That is, if you plan on taking any benzos at all.

I know it seems that way.... and seeing how every person on bluelight thinks they're a damn neuroscientist I don't expect you to believe me....

but suboxone is a dopamineric drug... which is stimulating (for most) and overheats the body... when taking suboxone with adderall , many people have noticed the over-stimulating synergy (than if you we're to take either one alone)

even if your roll was pure MDMA (and didn't contain any sort of regular amphetamine/meth in it) I believe the suboxone would invariably raise your hearbeat and temperature with a roll

I don't think I'm a neuroscientist. I have a basic understanding of pharms and the way they work. Nothing I went to school for, most of it is self-taught during my free time.

I was just asking why you thought that. The release of dopamine (by bupe) is minimal at best. I THINK this is because bupe is a partial agonist at the mu receptor. I think it would be a more legitimate concern if it was a full agonist. And besides, I did a quick search and there doesn't seem to be any risk of fatal contraindictions with other meds for bupe (like SSRIs, SNRIs) besides the obvious benzos, alcohol, OTC depressants, etc etc.

Even a partial agonist at the µ-opioid receptor (like buprenophine) releases serotonin and dopamine in the CNS, but to a lesser degree than full agonists do. This slight release of serotonin and dopamine may contribute to the anti-depressant properties of buprenorphine, especially those with a pre-existing mental disorder.

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buprenorphine (I know, I know).

Maybe the 'synergistic' effect people find by mixing adderall and bupe is because of the nature of the drugs? It isn't uncommon to feel very, very warm on opiates/oids, almost to the point of feeling flushed. Now add a stimulant to the mix (amps in this case), you have another drug that elevates heart rate which would compound the effects you described before (overheating, overstimulation, etc).

I'm not being an ass, so don't taze me bro.

haha^ i was just generalizing with the whole "neuroscientist" comment.

I ain't gotta taze ya, I just gotta rephase ya with my blaster

ummmmmmm you made my point for me better than I could. For me suboxone is equally stimulating as oxycodones. Maybe even more so. It affects everyone differently- for me its very less sedating than oxys/vicodin/heroin

I wouldn't want to take subs with a roll unless I was opiate dependent... and then I'd only take a tiny bit to keep from experiencing withdrawal.

Actually I bet MDMA would not put you in W/D if you were only moderately addicted
