'Rolling' names

tampa fl area i've always heard it called "rolling" "rolling balls" also "blowing up"
 
In both Minnesota and Texas I've always heard "rolling". Oh, and we always call pills "rolls": "Know where I can get a roll?"
 
it's always been "rolling" up here, as far as i know... sometimes it's "drop" as in "i just dropped"... me and my friends call it "rollerskating" or "lollerskating" <--- that's pretty much just a joke term.

that's just what people call it here. i thought it was odd too.

but i'm definately gonna introduce "rulerizzin"......

Rolling is a term from back in the day in the US. I remember when the term first came around. Its was back when the pills were just starting to float around the US when the rave scene first started before people started producing enough bunk pills to be an issue. When you bought e you were pretty much getting mdma. And the pure mdma feeling goes up and down for a bit, before it finally goes down and stays down. Hence rolling. Mind you the term dosen't make sense if you have methed up shit since the meth disgiuses the up and downs and makes it feel more consistent (albiet in a cracked out sort of way).

Now so few people actually get their hands on pure mdma its not suprising they don't feel like their "rolling".

So yeah im 95% sure it was to describe the serious emotional up then down that was fairly common among old school pills. Don't forget that old school pills were commonly 125+ mgs of pure mdma.

Also the rolling feeling dosen't apply as much on mda, kinda feels more like a straight up then down experience

wrecked / fucked seems to be a common expression, or when its really late in a club monged/mashed/twatted - Offit with missmoffit :D

E's I normally just call pills/beans
 
people are saying they are used to dropping, etc.. rolling is a term for the high, not the action of taking it... like tripping...

imagine having to say:

"im dropping so hard!" or "im beaning right now!".. sounds strange... or even "im so high on ecstasy!"

or at a rave some one says "what are you on?"... you reply: "im dropping"... gets confusing, i say "i dropped some acid" sometimes...

i definitely agree a better term could be used but rolling works i guess... but really makes no sense at all :\
 
In OZ we call it: Rolling, pinging, fucked, munted, off our faces, off chops, off my tits, off my nut etc

Mdma tabs: Beans, rolls, eki, pinga, rounds
