'Rolling' names

in florida its Rollin... i was told its because when u drop you get ups and downs... hence.. rolling.. but i personally think its just a good code for talkin about it... or was.. till the cops found out what rolls are... now we use other terms... skates... candy... beans... skittles... dont ask paranoid dealers come up with all kinds of stupid shit.
 
It's always been rolling for me!!
The only other names i've ever heard were dropping x.
Come to think of it..rolling is all people ever say
 
Around here it's always been something like...

- I'm rolling balls.
- I dropped about an hour ago.
- I beaned last night. (I've only heard this one a couple times. I think it sounds funny.)
 
Well I live In Baton Rouge, Louisiana we call it jiggin(JIG-N), Jiggalateing( JIG-UH-LATE-ING)and powering up. My boy jarvis he fukin with his nose thats how he jiggalates so ni$%a go ahead roll. POWER UP might as Well

yea im from houston and its ive never heard it called anything else besides rolling or alot of black ppl here call it powerin up theres even a song about... power up - wreckshop family
 
I used to hate the term rolling with a passion but now i find myself using it on occasion, probably because I hear it so much
 
it may be a US thing...but definitley not a NYC thing. The first time I heard the term roll was in manhatten about a month ago from some guy who was not from new york.

Me and those in my circle tend to use the word "buggin"

Born and raised in BR, living in Lafayette now.


They call B.R. Jigg City for a reason ;)

I'm from B.C Canada, and we say "Are you gonna pop?" "I just popped" "Rolling" "Fucked" "High" Rarely use dropped, or any of that. I call E "caps" not beans, rolls or any of that so yeah it does sound weird to me lol. "Who would like to pop a cap of E" <-- Canadian style

I've also read the same on erowid somewhere.

I also always assumed that the term "rolling" came from the fantastic eye wiggles caused by a decent dose of mdma.

Not that anyone around here seems to talk about 'rolling' though.... It's all about swedgers and messiness :)
