Do you think in the future it might be possible to modify our serotonin receptors so they dont downregulate and we could roll forever?

Do you think the body would die or age quicker to to excessive stimulation?

like I already said, thats why they are modified receptors, is to block the downregulation

But would you get psychological tolerance to the effects of MDMA. If you feel awesome all the time, doesn't it simply become normal?

I think chemistry alone isn't really enough to explain the MDMA experience. Set and setting also play a huge role.
