"Rollbacks" or MDMA "Flashbacks"?

I recently rolled for the first time this past weekend. Me and one of my best friends that goes to the old college i went to last semester (I'm at a diff. school now) got a group of 12 together and had sort of a "roll party" out at his lake house in a very beautifull, rural area.

Not to mention that it was one of the most beautiful and influential experiences in my life, I had a question to the "vets" out there?

I had some "E-pression" on sunday and was overall tired, but nothing intollerable. But this Monday, the strangest, yet very amazing thing happened to me. I was driving home from work and put on my Sunglasses (Aviators, or "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Glasses" as my cousin called them at the time, which i wore the entire duration of the roll) and I was listening to my iPod when a song came on, that at the time when I was rolling, felt and sounded amazing and really felt like it was connected to me in some way.

Anyway, I'm driving home and the song is playing and I'm wearing the glasses and all of a sudden ZOOM a sudden rush and euphoria comes upon me suddenly and I could have sworn for the next 10 minutes I was rolling again. Had everything, the warm fuzzies, the music sounded udderly amazing, and felt just great etc. After the song was over, it slowly resided til I was again at baseline.

Is this situation even possible? Is it posible to "roll back"? Or have a MDMA Flashback? Any input would be greatly appreciated
 
Yeah i know what you are talking about man. Now and then this happens to me especially when i hear music that was played the night of the roll. Its kinda like all the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. I guess rolling is such a strong emotional feeling, that it is not something you forget easily. Therefore it is easy to feel those feelings again when remenessing. Or something like that, i just know i have felt that too:)
 
Yeah good deal. Wasn't it just amazing though?! Ha I felt like I got a Free Mini-Roll or something.
 
I've had that kind of "flashback" aswell.

Interesting how one can actually get that warm, euphoric feeling back.

Lasted for like 5-10 minutes if I recall correctly.
 
Same with mine, the duration of the song was like 8 minutes, then around like a 2 minute slow comedown from my "Roll Back"

I didn't know what was happening at first but I sure enjoyed it!
 
I rolled last nite and i jus woke up and cut on sun is coming out by dj micro and i hit the vicks i swear i was rollin nuts again... I dont know sometimes when i get real high and cut good emotional trance on i feel like im rollin... I love it!

I think that what he was talking to is not quite the same as that. I get that when I hear good music or music with good memorys for me anyway. It's sort of like a nice feel good rush. However what the original poster was talking about, which has happened to me is like a full on flashback whereby all the effects of the mdma high are apprent.

The first time I did pills I heard a track a few days later by accident that I'd heard the night I was out (Katana - Fancy Fair). I recognised it instantly and remembered exactly where I was when I heard it and it was like I relived that moment again. My pupils went huge and I generally just felt absolutely cunted again.

Hasn't happened in about two years now though. :(

give it a while and these nice flashbacks become what i refer to lovingly as 'paranoia pangs' something memory will come back and the only way to get rid of it is to flinch. eek
 
a couple a days after the first time i did pills i was smokin a spliff and then felt like i was cummin up on pills again!!! madness. thas the only time its happened tho.
 
I dont think this is at all that uncommon. I've had quite a few of these moments, much more when I first starting out. But I still get them every now and then. It's almost always caused by songs bringing back memories. Can pretty much put it down to your brain associating the music with a time of major happiness, thus triggering a natural release of seretonin.

You gotta love it! =D
 
E is the wierdest drug! I have had E flashbacks too, but I believe it is purely mental. I remember feeling this way even before I did E.

Sir Seritonin! If it plentyful in your body, you will feel good = E.
 
It's a lovely placebo side affect.. or at least, that's the way I think of it. I get the butterflies, goosebumps, tingly rushes, slightly increased heartrate, dialated pupils, a bit of euphoria, etc etc whenever I haven't rolled in a month or more and I'm reading through these threads, Pillreports, hearing good techno... basically anything I associate with rolling. It's like my brain is saying "Whoohoo, I know what's going to happen next! *dumps a bit of extra serotonin*" Even if you aren't planning on rolling right away. :D
 
yeah, I remember this happened to be when I was in thailand not too long ago, this would've been 4th-5th of jan? just after I'd taken some pills on NYE. One of the few nights I went out when i was in thailand (apart from obligatory shopping - with parents) was too a club in chiang mai. I just remember being fairly drunk and getting up on this stage and they started pumping some fucking awesome trance, chainsmoking like a motherfucker and I had one of those moments where I closed my eyes and it aaall came rushing back. I felt like I was on pills again, it was that strange an effect...a combination of the awesome time I had a few days prior, the music and the drunkeness I suppose

I still get it a bit when I hear songs, like others have said...'Hey Boy, Hey Girl', 'Get Yourself High', by the Chem. Bros, those are two that almost always bring me up a little, hearing them at BDO was nuts - the only two songs of their set I heard, but god they were incredible...and I was playing Chem. Bros CONSTANTLY on my ipod on NYE - it's those subconscious associations I guess. 'Got Glint' is another one. 'Under the Influence' too now that I think about it

hey guys a friend was telling me about how she had a full on flashback a while ago. She had been regualry dropping ,ie( 2-3)times a mth. Then after bout 8 yths of this she was sitting at a m8s of our house n without having nething, she started to feel something coming on. My mates whos house she was at claims that he could c her jaw seriously chattering n her pupils were fukd!!! SO jus thought id let u know of her experience. Roll on n on guys!
 
I was just talking to one of my buddies who was actually with me when I rolled for the first time, and He said that he's had the same thing happen to him, very similar to mine, he heard a song come on that he was really diggin at the time. Pretty crazy but amazing how we can experience this
 
Yea that also happens to me a lot after pills... LOL sometimes when i come home from a trance party I take a shower... oohh man showers are bad when you've just come down... the heat of the water activates the rush again! i walk out of the bathroom and 'fly' back to my room again..
