Hey all, just a quick question. Whenever I do mdma, after the peak it's like a switch just clicks in my head and I go from feeling great to feeling just normal/baseline instantly. Is this a normal thing to happen?

No thats not entirely common. A few possibilities:
1. You're product is not MDMA and may be methylone as it is often reported to be a much shorter peak but similar to MDMA. Buy a test kit if you haven't already (USA - dancesafe.org, EU - Eztest.com). The kits help to determine what is in your pill/powder/crystals.
2. you're overdoing MDMA and ruining the experience. how often are you rolling? What doses are you taking?
3. Are you on any SSRI's or anything that may potentially alter serotonin?

I don't have a test kit no but this happened from two separate batches from two ends of the UK. Admittedly I had rolled the weekend before but that was the first time in 4 months and no I'm on no medication at all. Strange thing is, this also happens when on other substances such as MXE

I call them "cliff drop" come downs, and I used to get them every single time I rolled when I was new to using E. I never experienced E like a lot of people do where it comes in waves. For me, I would be sober one minute then rush to the peak almost instantaneously and roll for hours that seemed like mere minutes and then BOOM - I would get a feeling like an elevator sinking and go from astrally projected to stone cold sober as instantaneously as I came up. The highs were magical beyond belief but the cliff drop was horrible. After perhaps 10 to 12 times I started to get the more common slow come up with E hitting me in waves and then a long, slow and gradual come down. I don't know if they are co-related, but during that period of time I never had any negative effects from using E. I would go home, get some sleep and feel like a million dollars for several days afterwards with a great afterglow and then gradually come down to feeling normal without ever having one negative effect.

Are you taking the crystals of the street often called 'mandy'? I highly recommend getting a test kit, while your product may be fine (as is probably the case if you're taking mandy), you can never be 100% sure so it can provide that peace of mind/proof that what you're taking is MDMA.

Since you mention that it alo happens with MXE, it could be an enzyme-related phenomenon. Maybe the enzymes that break down MDMA are hyperactive so you rush to the peak but comedown very quickly.

I had exact same experience last time i took mdma,
However, i was due to 'come down' id been up for few hours or so on it, Closed my eyes, took few deep euphoric breaths through my nose, then when I opened my eyes, what i see was what you describe, back to baseline really.
