I am also from AL, Birmingham to be exact!! I know 3 years or so ago I thought I was the only person in AL on here. Glade to see other people in AL on here!!
 
Anybody interested in Dancesafe, there's now a chapter in Atlanta. You can visit the website at www.dancesafe.org/atlanta There's a ton of different forums to choose from and they're all locally based around the southeast scene, including members from South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Florida...
Our chapter director lived in and around Montgomery for 20yrs, so he knows Alabama pretty well!!!

3 or 4 years I am not exactly sure,l as for being greenlight, I had gotten away from the internet and all that for a while, I also had another screen name but in between the break of being off and away from the net I lost and couldn't remember my old screen name. If you know of a way I can get my old screen name back then I am all ears. I know when I registered the other day it still has my current e-mail address in here because it wouldn't let me use it.
 
Hey Rollin, ya know how you said it sounded " sketchy " about me being here 3 years ago and only being a greenlighter well I was able to track down my old screen name and Tada! here it is. Granted I didn't really post or reply all that much back then because I didn't have the time to stay on here all the time (not that there is anything wrong with that ) but I just never had the time. Guess it's not that "sketchy" afterall eh ? Anyway I am glad to see more AL people on here but I wish there were more central AL people here. Well hope everyone has good day. Seeee Yaaaa!!!

Sorry man, I apologize too, I totally understand about being careful. Back 3 or so years ago when I first registered I did an AL roll call and there was like 1 maybe 2 people besides myself that " spoke up " 1 was in Mobile I think and the other was Montgomery so I thought I was the only one from Central AL. I was actually trying to find some people from around here ( central AL ) because I figured I was the only one from central AL. Don't get wrong I enjoy meeting new people, but there wasn't anyone on here close to me that I could talk to about the "dead ass scene " around here you know. I am glad I am not the only one on here from central AL. Once again man, I apologize. I just hate being acused of being " sketchy " or " shady " cuz I am far from that. where do you party at anyway rollin' ?
 
It's cool. There isn't shit that goes on around here. I've been looking. It's dry to say the least. I'm just up here at school right now. I'm from New Orleans, so I usually do my partyin' down there. Zoolou Fest (sp?)is going on the weekend before Mardi Gras, so I've just been staying out of trouble till then.
 
Hell man it used to be ok around here. Did you ever go to "The Industry" when it was open ? I loved the Industry, "The Quest" had about the best DJ/Music around but things got way too "Hot" there. The it seemed like you had at least 2 or 3 people "G'ing' out every weekend at the Industry so they closed it down. I haven't been there since it opened as "Chaos". Have you been to Chaos, The Quest, or Studio???? Oh yea, guess what though I had a friend of mine tell me that they are going to open "Club 21" back up very soon, have you been there or heard about it ?? My friend that told me about "Club 21" opening back up is going to be one of the residents there. The club is going to have 3 different floors open. I sure as hell wish they would hurry up and open a half ass club here, or at least throw a good rave.
 
I've been to the Studio quite a few times. Been to Chaos once. Had fun every time. When I had good rolls anyway. You'd have to like the Techno\Rap music. Chaos had a never ending strobe light that was a little annoying at times. but i liked the water-fog stuff.
 
Hey all, thirdeye here, just moved down from knoxville and dying for a little partying--about an hour and half south of birm, somebody PLEASE tell me these people party...
 
hey man. You're not too far from me. I'm here for school, but only for the next month. Then back home. Can't say I've found any real party scene around here in Central AL, but who knows? If you find anything, let me know.

Hey ya'll!

I am from B'ham and looking for friends to party with! I am a 35 yr old female and have NEVER rolled, but would love to! I guess being as old as I am I missed the boat cause back in my party days(which never really ended) they had no such thing as X, but the more I hear and learn about it, the more intrigued I am ...I also recently saw that Movie "Groove" that won at a past Cannes Film Festival. The Movie is about a Rave and X and it was real interesting and continued to spike my interest. I have waited years for this and glad to have found this site!

I remember Club 21(and the Quest)! Somebody mentioned that and it brought back great memories for me! It was a great place! They had drag shows and I swear those "men" looked so much like woman it amazed me! They were GREAT! and VERY talented! If they ever open back up ya'll let me know, I'll be first in line!

Anway, I am newbie or "greenlighter" I guess here, I just want to find peeps that have the same interests as me in B'ham! I have TONS of friends online, but I am so sick and tired of being bored weekend after weekend!

Pm me if anybody wants to get to know me! I'm as cool as they come!

Bam. What up dude! I'm back home finally. thank god! been for about a month. And it looks like I'm gonna be going to school back here too so i dont know if I'll ever be back. Anyway whats going on in LA ? Anything ? As usual there isn't shit going on here, wait I take that back there are a couple of things going on but not alot of people know about it =D I have a friend of mine that is in school out in Houston, TX. I am supposed to catch a flight out there sometime in the next month or 2, gonna go out there and see how the Cowboys party, LOL!!
