So last time i tried to get this question answered people got a little upset because they thought i was trying to ask where to get it from and if someone on bluelight could "hook me up" thats not what im asking at all.
i have read the rules and i understand what is appropriate.

okay so i have heard a lot of things about rohypnol being a common drug in the rave scene back in the day but im i go to plenty of raves and i dont find it very common i havent ever been able to get a hold of it.I know some people that have done it befor but they cant ever get it.
But i guess my question is does all the rohypnol in the usa come from over seas? if so what countries is it prescribed in ? and what does it get prescribed for?

does anyone here use it ? or is common in any places?

once again im not asking for a hook up or for someone to help me get it .
also im not trying to "date rape " someone or anything like that i have been told its alot like ghb or xanax and those are two of my favorite drugs.

It's a benzodiazepine (flunitrazepam). It's not prescribed in many countries (esp. like the US/UK/Canada) 'cause it's too strong. It was really only prescribed for severe insomnia. It's not common anymore because it has the unfortunate tendency of making lots of people black the fuck out.

Asking where it's prescrbed and for what sounds a lot like "help me get rophys plz".

not really?

im just curious why it would be given to people.

not saying i wouldnt want to get some but im not asking for anyones help.

benzodiazepines are prescribed for relaxant/anti-anxiety/panic attacks etc.
they have calming sedative, muscle and skeletal relaxing properties.
they come in various forms and recreationally are useful for taking the anxious or paranoid edge off certain drugs and helping you to relax or sleep or control nervous tics or thought processes.
they are addictive so should be used with care, as with anything.

much much more caution than what?
as i said they are addictive and should be used with care (presuming that you are going to do them anyway)
personally i have used them many times in moderation, have never developed any addiction, have never suffered any negative side effects (though clearly from my post i am not denying that negative side effects are common) and for me have always provided a well welcomed lofty float to relaxation.

more caution then any addictive/abusable substance, besides alcohol.

i dont abuse them, i take as little as possible, but man.
when your doctor sends the script to the wrong pharmacy, or just waits an extra day or two to send a refill to the correct pharmacy... shit starts hitting the fan.

but i imagine as a prescriber, warning and warning of the facts of this medicine, to a highly anxious patient, may be a bit counter-productive...

it seems from the op that this is an enquiry into the recreational usage of the substance no? rather than the op being prescribed the drug.
I don't mean to jump to conclusions but it seems from your posting and handle that you suffer from some psychological issues.
each case is subjective but perhaps your problems with the substance are deeply connected to the nature of your illness.
it's not the case for everybody.
im not condoning the usage, merely presenting a balanced opinion from someone who has used them as and when for many years for recreational purposes only.
